Drinking protein
ad
Is there a reason every time I drink a ISOpure I sweat and I feel like I'm going to throw up? A regular shake I'm fine.

NotNatural23isopure i. the glass bottles always made me shit my brains out. so I stopped drinking it years ago. Isopure is over priced for the amount you get there are so many better options. but what gets me is we are trying to be healthy but some protien powders add yellow 5 red 40 blue 69. all cancer causing additives. Some protiens I don't understand why they add that shit. the new brand that brags about being native whey has that shit in it. totally contradicting what they are trying to do imo.
Damn cancer... I read about those before!
Anything that says 100% whey protein isolate yet is flavoured is lying to you about its contents
Likely hidden sugars or E-additives that your reacting to
Makes sense.
Never thought of it that way but you are right.
Either they're lying or they don't understand math. Maybe it has an asterisk next to it, like many ridiculous claims do on food and supp packaging.
Like this:
100% WPI*
*except not really lol
EXACTLY!!
They will regulate AAS but not poisonous food additives! Madness!!!
Because it's disgusting? Worst protein I've ever had next to fruit punch flavored Carnivor.
It fits in my macros because it's zero carbs. If you get the ones in the bottles already pre made. It's really good. The one in the container taste like salt.
I was referring to the RTDs. Leaves a film on my mouth and tastes bad to me. Are you keto?
Yes but about to start bulking soon...
How's your performance with keto? Strength going down? Harder to push yourself while training?
I have to do low weight high reps. The Clen helps me get through the day though so.
This T Nation article by Christian Thibaudeau changed the way I look at cutting:
https://www.t-nation.com/training/destroying-fat
Turns out, he, and the rest of those champions, are right. Heavy lifting preserves muscle mass very efficiently. Add gear in the mix and it's practically infallible. Now a lot of my cutting work is 5x5 compounds with high rep isos thrown in, which works very well. If the keto diet is preventing you from training as hard as you possibly can, is it truly worth it?
One of my favorite sayings, although I'm not sure who coined it: "Fat is burned in the fires of carbohydrates."
In my (possibly controversial) opinion, keto is a fad diet for hockey moms who don't care about having serious muscle mass, not bodybuilders and athletes.
Yes but it comes down to aesthetics these days. You can not burn fat without dropping carbs... Lifting heavy while cutting can cause major injuries... I would have to see there lifting regime. It would be okay to maybe do it once a week. Not every day though. I don't beilive everything I read. They spend 3 hours a day on cardio I know of esepcially Lee priest. They do 15-20 reps I know.
That's cool.
NotNatural23me too that is the stuff hour mouth is telling us not to swallow it is dangerous to put in your body it is the aspartame or the artificial shit they put in it to make it look red or blue and give it tatse.
It's like a snot rocket you can't get rid of lol. Call me crazy but I don't mind em.
I was going to say the same thing sip on it. I used to just down them and felt like garbage afterwards. Once I slowed down and took my time with it that all went away. Isopure is the only one my gut can handle.
I love isopure.
NotNatural23shouldn't that tell you something u can drink others with no problem but this kind messed you up? I avoid isopure won't even take it for free. tastes shitty and makes me feel like shit.
I used to be able to down them when I was younger. I guess I'm getting older.
That cracks me up.
Lol
Absorption rate. Hence isopure, you get the protein very fast to where it needs to be. Sip is, don't down it.
Well how am I suppose to time it if I take one or eat every 2 1/2 hours.
RustyhookerQuit relying on magic shakes. Take in solid protein every few hours. Use whey pre/post workout. Sip it thru workout.
Dozens of forums on why to not rely on shakes/liquids as a main stay
Thanks bro. I will read up on them..
Sip it over 20 mins or so and it will be gone
Thank you!
