Does how long you stay on cycle determine how much of your gains you keep??
Ive been pondering this lately. I know everyone loves to stay on cycle and of course I am the same. Its an addicting feeling and I fucking love the way I look and attention I get. But lately Ive been getting into the habit of extending cycles much longer than first intended and even adding in other compounds. Hell Im almost running cycles back to back. My 12 weeker turned into 20 weeks. It all comes down to me just not being completely happy with where I am supposed to end at, so I dont end it.
Does this fuck up what gains I can keep in the end? Does my body adjust to having high doses of test and other compounds for such a long peroid of time that it considers this, while on cycle, my normal state? I know food is going to dictate what gains I keep the most and my training. A lot of guys say take it easy and drop cals when you come off. That doesnt work for me. I find that I only keep gains if I keep training like I am on cycle and listen to my body. But am I ultimately fucking myself over by staying on so long? I do get bloods taken while on and off cycle so yes I understand the health risks involved and do not take it lightly. Thanks for any input

Is this accurate? Reason I ask is because I experienced the exact opposite. During pct, my test was very low. I have been tested frequently during and after and it's continued to climb rather than staying high and dropping. Does that mean clomid is still in my system and that's why my test has been climbing. That doesn't seem to make sense.
angusClomid works by blocking estrogen at the pituitary and hypothalamus. By doing so the message that the body is sending to stop production of LH (luteinizing hormone) is essentially silenced and the pituitary makes more LH. When this happens there is an increased signal to produce more testosterone in the testes. It is a proven fact that Clomid stimulates the body's own production of testosterone. We also know that clomiphene has a half life of 5-7 days which is about the same as the enathate ester, and since we know that we wait 3 weeks after a long ester cycle to start PCT it only makes sense that we also have to wait a minimum of 3 weeks to see natural testosterone production.
I cannon speculate on your values nor your testing, and the same disclaimer applies here in that everyone is different. However you may be experiencing the lagging concept in that your test drops very low, you start your PCT and it climbs until your natty takes over and then it continues unabated on its own. I'm older than most on here and when I test on clomid I am around 800, when I am well past my PCT it is....well, lets just say it's lower, lol.
I had a blood test 3 weeks into pct amd my test was 300ish. Lh and Fsh were elevated. Two weeks later my test was 433. One month after that it was 621 (2 months after stopping pct). I've clearly improved one way or another but it almost sound like by what what your saying, my test should have been higher them dropped.
I'm not disagreeing with you but it doesn't make sense to me. Either that, I got lucky to have recovered. Makes me want to get another test it's been a couple weeks I'm hoping my levels have climbed more.
I'm 37 btw.
RustyhookerSounds like his pct was bunk. The lh and test values tail end or on pct should be greatly elevated. Hmmmm....
Hmm is right. I'm so confused lol. I always thought it was normal to have lower test levels but higher Lh and FSH during pct since test has "left the building" and clomid/nolva were doing their thing to help raise test. This being why most hate pct because of the drop in test levels
UFOWasnt aware of the long clomid half life and inflation of test levels. I had only discontinued the clomid 10 days prior to getting bloods drawn so maybe that was too soon. My natural test before that cycle, after being off for 5 months was 880. I just used my most recent "off" cycle bloods as an example but maybe that was a false reading.
