Does AAS use lead to inevitable TRT down the road??
ad
So I wanted to run my very first cycle and was asking advice, then I got tag-teamed by Logan and Alloneword
lol. They said that I'm far too young and may never recover and will be on TRT, a very compelling argument
which raises/resurrects some concerns.
So what do you guys think, will AAS cause inevitable low T (or lost potency) later on even if you don't abuse
them; take all precautions like on cycle HCG etc and do a proper PCT?

Terephthalic Pt...Your endocrine system's resilience is better at a younger age right after you finish puberty. Right now is the least likely time you'll do the worst damage to your endocrine system.
However the earlier you start the more cycles you will probably run. If you continue to do AAS you will probably damage your endocrine system beyond repair eventually
Unless you're planning on going on HRT for the rest of your life anyway you should always PCT properly.
But no if you do a few cycles in your early 20s you'll probably be fine. Nothing is certain though. You'll probably end up doing some minor damage and end up with lower testosterone in the long run, but if anything the longer you wait to do it the more damage that is likely to occur anyway.
But then again if you only plan on doing a few cycles you probably don't need steroids to begin with. If you plan on continuing AAS for a long while it's very doubtful you won't suffer from low testosterone later in life anyway. It's just a matter of deciding when you're going to start the process of slowly killing (or possibly quickly killing) your ability to produce adequate amounts of T.
Yeah. makes sense. So its better to cycle sooner rather than later after puberty that is, if you intend just a few cycles?
Terephthalic Pt...Yes, but in my opinion if you only plan on doing a few cycles you're probably better off just sticking to diet and training.
You wouldn't be able to keep anything past your natural potential anyway once you stopped cycling and unless your diet and training are already spot on you'd probably end up losing anything you gained during the cycle anyway.
That being said my cycle recovery was easy peasy. Did get a little sad on clomid and toremifene, but nothing like I thought it would be. Never lost the ability to gain or maintain an erection even during PCT. I actually had higher test levels after my cycle PCT than I did before, but I believe they probably returned to normal or close enough to normal that I can't tell the difference after a few weeks out of my PCT.
In the end it's your choice. Nothing is certain, but in my experience I'm glad I cycled sooner rather than later. I regret doing the cycle because of the fine not really visable hair I now have on my upper arms and chest, and won't cycle again in fear of actually producing visible chest, and back hair. But yeah I'm super glad I cycled earlier rather than later. It was a learning experience and kinda fun. I recovered extremely easily (although my cycle was only Test E and Var @ 630mg and 100mg, 12 and 8 weeks respectively).
This doesn't mean you'll have the same experience though. You may have a weak ass endocrine system that cripples and falls apart after your cycle. No one can really know for certain although I doubt you'll have trouble as long as you stay away from heavy hitters like nandrolone and trenbolone or don't do excessively long cycles and do a proper PCT.
That being said being on cycle was amazing. I have never been that strong in my entire life and I'm a pretty strong dude already. I felt invincible. I definitely miss it and you should take into account that it may even be slightly addicting to have that much power. I don't personally have an addictive personality but if you do you may want to steer clear because man was it a great feeling.
Yeah, so I suggest doing an excessive amount of research before you even plan a first cycle and then really really think about whether you want to do it.
Anyway that was kind of my experience with a cycle. I was 22 when I started my cycle 8 months ago BTW.
Good luck with whatever you decide. I don't think there's really anything more I can share with you, but as someone who first cycled around your age recently if you have any questions I'd be more than willing to answer them for you.
Bro, I'm 41 and on TRT. I never did roids in my whole life, I was diagnosed with low T at 36y/o. One of my regrets was not having looked into cycling when I was younger, I would have saved a lot of frustration of working out for years and no seeing any tangible results, as well as always feeling fatigued and down.
When I asked my dr what causes low T, his answers was "it's either genetic, or probably the fact that gov keeps poisoning the water and food supply" lol, but there's some truth to it.
Being on TRT is one the best things that has happened to me. And I'm thankful to have found this site
Sorry bud for making you feel double teamed. Inevitably, I think we should always hope for the best but prepare for the worst. If we can't accept the worst, then maybe we should reconsider. .
Once you get on the juice you won't ever want to go back to training natural, especially if you're an ectomorph and your genetics limit you to minimal gains, and you spend years and years looking the same regardless of diet and routine, when the whole reason you started working out to begin with was to get bigger. AAS will make it difficult to ever want to go back.
I will probably end up on TRT whether or not steroids induce it, but is that a bad thing? Being in shape during my 40's and 50's while everyone else is fat, aging terribly and suffering from low T anyway? Yes, testosterone is something I wish to continue through life, especially as I get older and my test levels diminish.
As far as TRT being the result of AAS use/abuse... Individual results may vary. I've read about guys doing year long cycles on their 20's and recovering fine, and on the other side of the spectrum people getting shut down after one cycle. You never know.
I don't know if I can accept inducing TRT, I don't think I'll have low T even in my 50s. My fathe... donor is 50-60 and still womanizing like an adolescent
Low t doesn't always mean you have a low libido.. I know quite a few people with low t who always seem to be chasing women.. Blood test will tell you for sure about your fathers test levels.. also consider the older male generation on your mothers side
Yeah, Guess we're back to "nothing is guaranteed" except "death and taxes" anyway you look at it
Very true
Buildbigger86My Homie D,
You could of not of said this better my man. You describe the perfect description of myself and i am sure many other's wether they would like to admit it or no. Serious props on this one.
Plus 1 all dayy
I know more older steroid users on trt than i do that run the whole pct if that means anything.. If you're gonna jump into steroids then be ready to accept the consequences because many things can go wrong even with the right support.. If your smart you'll at least give it a few years
I'm actually considering not ever going on :(
Well when your quite a bit older you'll prlly want to.. won't have high test forever and low test isn't so great for you.. but that is decades away for you
how old are you bro
22 going 23 next month
regardless of being prepared you would still be messing with hormones that your body is already producing well at your age.
in this game you can know the risks and try to be prepared, but no one can say for sure how your body will respond.
nothing is guaranteed
death and taxes
death taxes/"estate taxes"...evil
I'd rather die than pay taxes... Oh wait...
Haha dam thats true. -_-
