basskiller89You might look leaner bc of water retention but it shouldn't have a metabolic effect brother
CREATINE shouldn't cause ANY fat gain during a cutting cycle at all. I could see where you could retain extra water weight but gaining fat is non sense.
I have debated with many people on this but my position is against using creatine during cutting. Research shows there's a shift in substrate utilization that moves away from using stored adipose tissue as a potential energy source. I'm not saying you can't burn stored fat while using creatine, but the rate in which you decrease body fat will be hindered. I'm basing this on peer-reviewed studies that evaluate body composition with a DEXA scan.
Find out first hand... go to the market, buy some creatine, use as directed on the label and see how it does for YOU......personally I think it’s garbage.... if it’s fat loss you’re looking for, do some hit workouts, if you’re bulking eat extra pb&j sandwich.....
Besides a good protein powder n a multi vitamin, otc supplements are mostly bs.... yes there are some vitamins and minerals that can beneficial but a healthy lifestyle and diet along with exercise is the way to go.....(..now excuse me while I go pin some test)....
Living4ThePumpCreatine can be used anytime whether bulking or cutting. It doesn't store water under the skin and makes you look fluffy. That's a big misconception. It stores it intracellulary in your muscles, which makes you look fuller/bigger. So don't be afraid to use it, it will help you maintain strength when cutting too.
