bloodwork tst + eq
Hi everyone. I’d like to get your opinion on something I’ve been dealing with for quite a while.
I’m currently in week 5 of 300 mg Test E / 100 mg EQ per week and recently had bloodwork done.
Over the last few days, I haven’t really noticed a significant drop in libido, but my erections seem softer and tend to go away pretty quickly.
EQ seems to be keeping my E2 nicely within the reference range, but I started wondering whether it might actually be getting too low for me. I know quite a few people who say they feel best with E2 somewhere around 200–300 pmol/L, with their best libido, erection quality, and overall well-being in that range.
Since EQ is still accumulating in my system, I’m also wondering whether my E2 could potentially drop even further over the next few weeks.
My main question, however, is about the elevated progesterone and TSH, especially considering that my FT4 is near the upper end of the reference range.
I’ve already discussed my thyroid with an endocrinologist. He did more extensive bloodwork, a thyroid ultrasound, checked for Hashimoto’s and other possible issues, and according to him everything looked fine. He said my TSH is only slightly above the reference range and that hypothyroidism usually isn’t treated unless TSH is considerably higher. However, some of the information I’ve found online seems to suggest otherwise.
One important thing to mention is that my TSH has always been like this, even when I was natural. The same goes for progesterone and DHEA-S, which also tend to run slightly high. Sometimes my TSH is within range, around 2.00, while at other times it comes back elevated like this.
Could any of these things be contributing to the erection issue? And is there anything in particular that might be worth trying or investigating further?
Overall, I feel good. My sleep is good, although I occasionally experience quite a significant drop in energy during the day.
Thanks in advance for any input and for taking the time to read this.

E2 is around 33-34 pg/mL. Most likely the issue. Khandum already called it, try upping the test
I'm unsure about the DHEA-S or the TSH having any impact at all on erections at all, but e2 for sure does. What did the blood work say? Yeah you cant post pictures, but you need to at least post the results typed out for us. You only stated a range where most guys like to be at, this equals roughly 54–82 pg/mL (Freedom Units) and this is correct, this is where many like to be including myself. I just wanna state, you did a blood test at week 5, but Eq does not fully saturate until around 9-10 weeks in. Now at week 7 it's about 85% saturated, and can be a good point in time to get blood work.
If your e2 is already low from what your blood panel is stating then your e2 is only gonna drop more, and your e2 is the reason for having floppy erections. You have two options from what I can see. You can up your Test a little bit and ride it out, and wait for your Test : Estradiol ratio to come back to normal levels. On the other hand you can also up the Test, as well as take a bit of dbol to get some real quick aromatization going to jolt your e2 back up. Now I don't wanna recommend dosages on something like dbol since I never used it or have had to deal with this scenario, but be careful cause its not normal estradiol it converts to Methylestradiol. Methylestradiol has lower binding affinity for the receptor then normal estradiol, but the estrogenic activity can be pretty harsh, massive bloat / moon face, acne, and of course gyno.
How much do you weigh, and what phase are you in, cut, bulk, cruise??
Edit: I just wanna state if this was me I would not go the route of dbol, even if it sounds like a fun experiment to try it. I would go the route of making your Test to Eq ratio being a 4:1 or even a 5:1. Try 400-450mg of Test, and ride it out, take another blood test at week 10.
Thanks for the reply. That’s exactly what I was thinking as well. I’ll try increasing the Test slightly and check my bloodwork again in about a month.
I’ve also added my bloodwork results to the post. At first, the photo was showing up, but now it isn’t, so I typed out all the results manually.
