Acid/indigestion

ad

Does anybody else suffer with this sometimes I get it when training making me feel like I'm going to be sick.

Seem to get it on orals (maybe coincidence)

I've taken Zantac am and pm
Seems to help but don't want to be taking daily

Gaviscon helps but doesn't relieve to bloated feeling

I'm currently bulking eating 4500kcals minimum so lots of food in the system.

I know there's a lot of factors to consider but maybe someone knows a magic quick fix.....

I eat tums like they are going out of style. If it gets bad nexium works great.

Some orals to that to me as well, when I plan on running orals I get some prilosec otc to take along with them. I'll start the prilosec a week before the cycle begins but never exceed 4 weeks. Haven't had heartburn at all from doing this
Edit: also try to eat a little something like a tablespoon of peanut butter or 2 when doing an oral protocol. When I take anavar on an empty stomach for example it's guaranteed heartburn almost like it "burns" my stomach if that makes sense. I always make sure I have a small bite along with the said dose and haven't had it in a while

I get it bad to, seems like it started when i was running orals at the beginning of the summer and never went away despite stopping the orals. I just started nexium yesterday and its helping a bit. Says it takes up to 4 days to fully work so will see. I cant keep eating tums everyday the calcium is bad in many different ways

Yes mam the bromelain is vet good at soothing acid reflux. Since you brought it up there's actually a lot of remedies that some websites say work. Here's a few:
Apple Cider Vinegar- the pectin in it is why
Baking Soda- sodium bicarbonate itself is a ingredient that does the actual work
Papaya- helps soothe the pain
Real herbal licorice- been used for a long ass time
German Chamomile- been used for a long time to treat acid reflux.

There's more stuff out there someone wanted to look

it isn't even as if you have to eat a whole pineapple a few pieces will do and it is good for you ..sheesh .. everyone wants to take a pill ...

I'll be honest when I can afford my probiotic I have the firmest most glorious shits ever! Nothing worse than dumping sticky soft serve day after day!!!
Don't know why I felt you needed to know that but it's a pill and they work mamagirl

I guess I asked for that.... probiotics are not man made tiny pieces of poison seeking to fix an ailment that can be fixed through identification of the issues rather than using a pill to cover up symptoms of a greater problem.

IME nothing works better then omeprazole. Its OTC u can get it in any pharmacy. I've been taking it for years now with no side effects.

Do you only have it when taking orals or is it something that just seems to pop up whenever?

In my case, taking a PPI like Zantac ( I took Prilosec) made things much much worse over time. What helped me was increasing the acid in my stomach, not suppressing it. There is a thought that sometime acid reflux isn't from having too much acid in one's stomach, but that it can actually be caused by the opposite. Not enough acid or your stomach isn't working efficient. In this case, the food isn't digesting and moving along as it should. This can cause partially digested food or stomach acid to go back up into the esophagus and cause the burning sensation. Any acid in the esophagus will cause burning, not just in the case of "too much".

What helped me? Stopping the Prilosec. I add apple cider vinegar to some of my bigger meals to help with digestion. I also use digestive enzymes when needed, including betaine HCl.

In any case, orals and/or tren mess with my stomach a bit anyways, exasperating the problem.

Something to look into OP.

Like has already been said apple cider vinegar works but also try a probiotic with a very high count and some kumbucha. It keeps it manageable.

humpnpump's picture

X2 kumbucha and eat a lot of greenage like spinach. Take orals with peanut butter. Take TUDCA 500 mg 5 minutes prior to taking orals.
OTC antiacids just reduce the acid in your stomach and makes the problem worse in the long run and then your completely dependent on them.
I started kumbucha and greenage to get digestive tract going and Tudca to help the liver process the oral and peanut butter stick the oral in a wad of peanut butter and the liver dumps bile to breakdown fat. No more problems for me after doing this for about 2'weeks.
