I cant seem to rate my sources... plz help ( i know this is a redundant question but its just not working)

I placed my review a couple weeks ago for a source and i dont know if i didnt have the 6 karma points i needed to be able to rate but i went back to rate today and it just turns the star red but will not stay. im not incompitent by any means and i have looked for the answer in the forum and all i can find is that you need 6 karma points to rate... well i have more than 6 and i still cant rate. where am i going wrong here? i even tried to click leave a review just to see if it was any different on there and it does same thing. Thanks for help in advance.

Holy shit I found a way... I went back to my old review and clicked the edit button and made a new insert and saved it. After saving it allowed me to do my rating! Hopefully this will help others in the future should they have this problem!

I still can't figure this shit out! Am I blocked from being able to rate or something??? It's not that hard to do from all the forum questions asking "just click the star after you review" does it have to be the same day you review or what?

yeah that is correct, and from my understanding you have to leave a review before you can rate and before you can leave a review you have to have used the product you purchased but what if you want to rate based on price and shipping and all that before you use the product which in some cases could be several months... like a special or a promo too good to pass up

With gear,you're not supposed to leave a review until you have used it.If your not rating all the categories,maybe that's why your rating isn't going through.

its just not working, i can scroll over the star and click and soon as i move my mouse the star is white again and doesnt even register i clicked on it. i tried on my computer and on my phone and neither will let me click the dang star. How does it go when you do it ? u click the star and it turns color and stays while you go to next category and so on then it when all are clicked it just automatically sends ? just curious... but this is frustrating me.

I just looked at the sources I have rated.The stars are red.Huh,maybe you should check with a mod.Let me know what you find out.

yeah surely it cant be that complicated but im about to just give up but i know that ratings are what really keeps the sources in good standings. hopefully a mod will chime in here soon and be able to make sense of it all... im not in a big hurry just stumped at the moment.
