Never to Old I Hope

ad

Not sure what TRT is but I'm way over 40. I'm in my 50's and going on my second hip replacement next month. 1st one was 10 months ago and recovery time was very long at my age. I've crushed both feet in a motorcycle then car collision in my teens. 4-6 month recoup time for each. I was in a coma for 4 weeks from having advanced pneumonia in both lungs in 2006. That took a year to recover from. In 2011 went to the hospital for the Flu but it turned out to be Peritonitis. 3 major abdominal surgeries spread out over the next 2yrs and 3.5 months in Hospital stays healing and had 10in. of my colon removed. All these old injuries have returned to haunt me. This is probably my last big hurrah. The race ain't over yet but the finish line is in sight. Oh, did I mention I have really bad Arthritis. In my early 40's I noticed my skin on the back of my hands was very thin like an old man,-- that no matter how hard I worked out no results- I had a section of my Colon removed from Colitis and the Arthritis are all family traits but not till mid 70's. So I had a Testosterone test done. Wow! So low the doc says if you were 90 this would be to low. I'm trying to get back in shape but feel like I was pushed through a meat grinder. If this sounds like you please write a bit I could use the encouragement. Peace Guys

OH! OOopss, Thats BMI -Body Mass Index 24-26- I'm at the high end of normal weight just touching over weight on any BMI chart you look at. That foolish thing says I should weigh 175-180lbs.Sorry about that guys. I didn't mean to set off any (Oh shit, this guys going to have a heart attack alarms). But I do appreciate the concern. I can't help laughing at these posts. I change subjects as often as most people blink. Thats ADD.My BF is about 20% or less. If anyone read my stats I'm 6'1" and at 210lbs and a BF of 24-26% I would really have to be a jelly fish. I think I'll go sit in my old man rocking chair and see If I can find someone to commiserate with. I have made other posts about my cycle. Got some help from Mr.X. At present Its Tes-E 200mg- Nan-Deca 300mg Tren E 200mg with a kick start D-bol 30mg x 2 day. Oils are every 4th day. Also using Anastrozol 1mg. I know It may seem like low intake for my body weight but its been a while (20 yrs)and I'm just trying to get strong for this surgery March 4. I picked up 2 Box 10iu vials Somatropin and oxandralone for post surgery weeks 4 through 12 W/ the oils. Peace Guys

I have read all the posts here - some have been unkind and some helpful - just like real life when asking total strangers for their advice - particularly when they have neither an emotional nor psychological investment in your well-being. I'm one of those guys - it's your body and your life, and if your stated age is correct, you should already know better. You claim that you want to be strong for your pending op and recovery so you are taking AAS and 2 boxes of GH (the GH is a waste of money IMO as it takes months/mega doses for recovery purposes). To me, personally, you are being quite naive - you are falling into the trap all the millennials fall into - the "Duh, I want to be big/strong/fit, QUICK, so I will take all kind of shit to get there...quick." ..."fuck working out for years - that's for suckers." attitude. If you were really serous about being strong for your op/recovery you would change your diet, do cardio, exercise clean so that you body is in as good a condition as possible naturally. Yeah - with the AAS you might go into the Op Theatre looking a little, if at all, buff - but you might not survive it considering the added stress you are placing on all the organs you rely upon to survive - but hey - your life. Enjoy it while you can.

SMH. You keep digging a deeper and deeper hole.

You realize AAS takes a toll on your blood pressure, cholesterol, stress on your heart, liver, and kidneys, etc...
You hope to get strong for surgery in 4 weeks, but where it counts, it'll take a toll.

Not to mention you'll hardly see any benefit from the long esters you'll be using before you go under the knife. (the test-e and Tran-e).

I don't know about you, but I would want a strong heart, low BP, low cholesterol, be well rested with little or no stress, AND I would want my doc to be fully informed about what might be in my system.

I don't expect to do this in 4 weeks. I started 6 weeks ago. I just started the D-bol 1 week ago. Bloods just done - liver enzymes all normal. I take Hydrochlorothiazide low dose for blood pressure and can elevate dose if necessary. I have an Endocrine specialist that I've had for 4yrs. Cholesterol is under control with Simvastatin and was great in blood work. Pre-Op is 10 days away and it will all be done again by the surgeon. My sister and brother are both doctors and make great reference points but Endo-Doc knows his shit on this subject. I do check my own BP which was only occasionally elevated when I went on the HCTZ.My brother tells me 120/80 is elevated and what we call normal is just an over all average with a few points in either direction called a range. He says the average American has hypertensive issues anyway and that a pressure of 110/70 and a pulse of 60 should be base line. I'll be taking 30-45 day break after surgery for PT. T Just low dose of tes and tren to hold the little mass I gain. Then start up again til summer without D-bol adding HGH and Oxandralone. Post surgery wounds and bone repair are what they are used for.

Stats are different for everyone, BF% makes a big difference. I'm in my 50s, 6' 1", 225lbs, but 12% BF. And I love my TRT, throw in a little tren, deca, winny, HGH in there throughout the year and I'm golden. Smile

My BF is estimated by my doc every month. I have to see them every 30days for opioid refills. They say 24-26% but after having all my abdominal muscles removed and replaced by a large mesh cloth its hard to tell.Did I mention I've also broken 4 ribs a bunch of fingers and had my left hand reconstructed after running it through a table saw. I was diagnosed w/ ADD and manic behavior a few years back. Not soon enough. I used to get notes from school saying-He does't stay on topic- He day dreams a lot- he is more interested with whats going on outside the window than in the class- has trouble paying attention in school. I was tested the highest scorer in the California achievment test( The CAT exams)in the city of 100 thousand residents two years in a row.Fourth grade and sixth. Thats a little about me. I'll get back w/ much more.

WTF?! Mod dump this post please, this guy is nuckin futz.

Greg's picture

WTF old man. So, he's a bit of a narcissist and went way off tangent with his reply.

But he did reply that his BF is 26% which I think we would all agree is a bit high to start a cycle. I would hazard to guess that it mattered little to you when you were a 280 lb fat ass. But remember too, he is on TRT from his doc and hasn't talked about doing a cycle. He's just here to brag a bit about his miserable condition (narcissistic "look at me") while at the same time looking for someone who might be able to commiserate with him.

ErieToPitt's picture

I didn't start at 280lbs. I brought my BF down first to below 16%, then I cycled. Why? Because I was reading this site 2 years before I even started cycling. I'm an engineer by profession, so I research the hell out of everything before I risk my body.
I lose my BF the old way, exercise, but most of all reducing the amount of calories in. Now getting below 15 or even single digits isn't going to happen the natural way now, is it? I liked the way you just assumed something about me, come on now, that's just not right.

Greg's picture

I said it was a hazardous guess... and a very small part of my post. But if that's your takeaway... oh well.

If you read it again, you'll see that I'm admonishing the OP about the direction his posts seem to be taking more than I'm getting in your case for feeling that the post was so egregious that it needed to be removed.

The "WTF old man", and "280lb fat ass" are your words not mine.

ErieToPitt's picture

That's because I agree with everything else you said. The posts do make for interesting reading though. Smile

Speaking from experience, .............. old men do not commiserate well with one another.

They usually look for young men to try and scare the shit out of.

KMC's picture
