+ 1 lil update on my first run
i’m 24, been training natural for like 4-5 years now. decided to hop on my first cycle couple months back, kept it simple with just test e.
honestly, been feeling pretty solid overall. strength went up steady, recovery’s been way better, and i’m holding size even when i miss a meal here n there. pumps hit different too lol.
only downsides i’ve noticed are random mood swings and sleep being on/off some nights. also feel a bit more water around face but nothing crazy.
diet’s mostly clean, keeping sodium low and running some cardio too. front legs still lagging but i’ve been pushing them harder lately and starting to see some change.
overall not bad for a first run. tryna keep it smart and not go overboard.
anyone else remember how their first few weeks felt? curious if y’all had the same ups n downs.

Whats up bro! That's crazy! I'm stoked for you!
musclehead2whats up bro, your first Test E cycle sounds like a solid kickoff I’m stoked you’re seeing strength and recovery jump. I’m new to this too, just started my own run, and those mood swings and water retention hit me early, maybe try splitting pins (150mg twice a week) and watch E2 if the face bloat bugs you. excited to see how week 2 treats you bro
evanyo appreciate that bro -- yeah i’ve been pinning once a week, might actually try splitting it like you said, see if that smooths things out a bit.
def feeling that water hold some days, mood’s been up n down too lol.
how’s your run goin so far? you on test only too?
alxloveNice update bro, sounds like you’ve been putting in the work. That steady strength climb and better recovery are always the best signs your training and diet are dialed in. The sleep and mood stuff can definitely swing when you’re pushing hard and eating more; I noticed the same thing during my first serious growth phase.
Keeping sodium balanced and cardio in the mix is smart, that’s usually what keeps the face from holding extra water for me too. Good call on hammering legs; that mind-muscle connection takes a while, but once you figure out what movements hit your quads right, they start to catch up quick.
Enjoy this progress phase, man. The first few months where everything starts clicking are the best. Just keep tracking lifts, food, and sleep, it pays off long term.
evanthanks bro appreciate that -- yeah been trying to keep things steady and not rush it. sodium/cardio tip helps a lot actually — face looks less puffy already lol.
legs are finally starting to feel that mind-muscle connection you mentioned, it’s slow but i can feel the difference every week.
definitely enjoying the process right now, tryna stay consistent with food n sleep like you said. respect for the advice man --
