Dirty meal better than no meal

Hey all,
So something I struggle with is sometimes when work I am on the road or in the go and I will skip a meal because only thing around is day a McDonald’s or just something just all around not that healthy so my question is, is it better to get a 3-4pc crispy strips and get the protein in even if it isn’t the cleanser Esther then getting nothing In.
Keep in mind I’m just getting back into working out and trying to pack on weight. Starting weight was measly 140lbs, diet had been clean and consistent for the most part other then some missed meals due to schedule. Thank you for ang advice

Nah man, you get quarter pounder patties from McDonalds. They’re advertised as 100% beef and are actually quite good. Just order from their kiosk in the restaurant, pick the quarter pounder, edit it, subtract the bun, cheese, etc… and add patties.
Boom. Protein for days. Yes, higher fat content, but you’re not getting nasty frying oils and breading at least.
They have apple slices, too, if you want fruit. McDonald’s isn’t all terrible if you’re okay with red meat.
On the contrary, any grocery store will have cans of tuna and apple sauce. I got the idea of mixing tuna with apple sauce from the Raising the Bar documentary. It’s delicious.
You must have a gucci McDonalds. In Baltimore you ask for no bun or cheese etc and it comes out with 3 buns, extra cheese, mustard, pickles, onions on top and then they say go F yourself. we lazy and don't get paid enough and cuss you out for making their work difficult
Small town, USA, baby. They still mess up orders left and right, but you best believe I’m going to get the patties I paid for!
They have grilled chicken you can do this same thing with. In terms of macros it isn’t that hard, definitely not impossible, to hit your numbers when on the road. Might be fucked on sodium though lol
Of all the things I know about McDonalds, I didn’t even think about the grilled chicken. That’s a game changer.
You’re right, might be a bloated mess by the time I get home, but I’ll hit my protein macros for the day haha
