I never even realised you are Mexican mate - not that it makes any difference to me at all. I often see all this being taked about in America but from when I first ever came over there I just figured the States was made up of a lot of different races. I think there are barely any mexican's living over here, not that I have seen. If they do they tend to run restaraunts like the Chinese families do here. I really don't see what the problem is as long as everyone acts civilised with each other. Known many Mexican guys on here and they all seem friendly and like good people to me.

I speak well from someone who went to a year and a half of high school lmao. When I’m comfortable around someone you’ll realize how ghetto I actually sound. I’ve learned to adapt. I enjoy how it throws people off bc I know what they think when they look at me. I had a great mentor in my late 20s. A cop who worked my hood, knew a lot of the beef going on, knew my family who I was associated with, even knew my enemies. He helped me with my writing and vocabulary. He helped me realize how I was still stuck in that hood mentality and gave me that extra push to completely remove myself from that world. I appreciate that dude very much. With out him I wouldn’t be writing like this.

I didn’t love Star Wars til my son did. I knew of it but my son loved it. We bonded hard over those movies. As I got older I grew attached to the story of Darth Vader. The one who was supposed to bring peace and turned to the dark side. In the end Vader did bring peace by destroying the sith. He had to go through pain and suffering to be able to come out the other end and fulfill his true purpose.
This story line hits my soul.

Well thats cool and all, I love mex food it's by far the best next to bbq....but the problem with the restaurants and tire shops is they're very often controlled by the cartels....just recently there's was a large fentanyl bust inside one and another is under investigation for washing money...the system is broken and society is brainwashed... Order out of chaos.
Not gonna lie taquerias and Mexican grocery stores too. I know of 4 taquerias through family ties. 2 grocery stores got busted and there are a few more. The average person even Mexican wouldn’t know. Usually you know through family and they don’t come across as drug dealers. They are good at blending in.

There will always be division, we’re taught, indoctrinated, to go against mother natures programming. Humans as groups have been protecting their own from the beginning of time, and it’s worked. The modern experiment of integration is failing, dangerously. We’re at a point where it’s not racism or bigotry, it’s self preservation at this point. If you think otherwise, you’re conditioned. People have become dangerous, there are many out there that will do whatever they can to get what they want. It’s upsetting for those with rose colored glasses, I used to wear them myself, but we’re fighting nature at this point.
What divides this country is not having open conversation about topics such as these.

Ultimately criminals should be deported. Hard working Mexicans should be given a path to citizenship so they can pay taxes. They should lock down the borders hard and try to work on those who are already here.
Btw I don’t just live in America. I am American. A proud first gen Mexican/American working hard everyday to give my children a better life. Preaching the importance of education and work ethic in hopes that pass that on to their children so the generations to come will be further away from poverty, drugs, and gangs.

When we place an order for takeout at the burger joint, do we have to continue struggling with them in translation or they dont understand what to order? I can state that any amount matters and isnt exaggeration....AND the previous administration had the borders wide open. I never in my life have seen as many immigrants ever in the last 4 years. Grocery stores infested with internationals, restaurants, you name it including violent crooks. Absolutely zero exaggeration!

There’s a legal process for entering the country. Maybe it needs to be reworked, but there’s still a process. I am NOT a fan of our government, but that doesn’t mean I think everyone and their military-aged male friends should enter freely…

IMO the system is what needs fixed. My union coworker is from Laos. Came here as a refugee during the Vietnam war as a small child. He is a few years away from retiring, and along the way he married a woman who lives in Laos and has been trying go get her here in the states for 7 years now. Covid happened and costed them some time. Along with other boarder shutdowns. To me.. years waiting to make it though a “system” is a long ass time. Whatever needs to happen to make the “system” more efficient for folks to do it legally. That’s where my vote goes.
