Primo Reaction/Swelling
I had a recent problem with Primo and am looking for some advice. I was a few weeks into a cycle using 500 mg test with aromasin to control AI. I had read good things about Primo as being a good second compound to add and that it also may provide AI benefits so I decided to try some. I received my primo and added it in at a 1:1 ratio with my test. Initially, there was no PIP and I was releived because I know this can be a problem with Primo for some people.
Although the primo felt fine initially, this did not last long. About 24 hours later my quad was sore around where I injected the primo. Felt like a charlie horse in my quad muscle. The next day the pain increased and spread down my quad toward my knee. I started limping a bit. I woke up the following day and I could barely walk. My quad was swollen, especially just above my knee. My pulse was also rapid - around 110 beats/min. Blood pressure was mostly normal. Fearing an infection, I went to urgent care.
The doctor said it did not look infected and my temperature was normal - just elevated pulse. She thought it seemed more like an adverse reaction and prescribed prednisone, an anti inflammatory. This seemed to help, though I was still limping. It took about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks for the swelling to go away fully. I know primo can take a while to clear and it seems like I just had to suffer and wait it out.
For reference, I have no known allergies to medications. I've used test, EQ, tren, anavar, tbol and anadrol mostly without side effects. I get a bit of elevated blood pressure or acid reflux, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Now, I'm trying to figure out what to do. The source of the primo was running a buy one, get one promotion and now I have 6 vials of this stuff and not sure what to do with it. The source is generally considered reputable by Eroids community. Has anyone had this problem with primo? If so, how did you resolve?
If it is an allergy, I wonder if reintroducing the primo at very small doses and trying to work up gradually might work. Sorry this is a bit long - any advice would be appreciated.

This is a typical reaction to an poorly chosen injection site and (probably) the increased concentration of BB in your product.
There is no need to dramatize the situation or think about infections and other terrible consequences. Such cases occur quite often.
You need to:
-Change the injection site, moving it higher and closer to the outer side of the thigh, away from the midline (if you injected in the middle or lower part).
-Keep Nimesulide (in tablets or granules) on hand and take it when such symptoms appear. It’s one of the most effective NSAIDs for such cases. I think it’s a simpler and gentler option compared to Prednisone.
Act according to the circumstances and never be scared of common things that happen to you. It’s unlikely that you need to see a doctor about this.
I can’t stay on primo long because it does the same to me but I can rotate sites and handle it for 6-8 weeks I love what it does to my physique so I just man up and ride it out raised my heart rate too
Man up’s got nothing to do with this. I had to hobble into urgent care on a crutch. Couldn’t do any lower body work for 2 weeks.
So 500-500....like 500mg of each in same barrel? 500mg strength test? 5cc of 100mg primo? Lil over 2cc of 200mg primo? 5cc all at once? 18ga needle?
It was 500:500. I inject twice a week. So 250 each time. The primo was 200 mg/ml. I injected the primo in a seperate spot from the test so I could monitor it more easily. I prefer 25 ga needles. There was no pain initially. It started about 12 hours after the injection and got worse over the next several days.
200mg primo has a lotta bite. Need to blend as suggested by pumped. Good luck
I would try mixing in same barrel and roll the needle to mix. Try that and if still hurts then primo could just be a compound not for you. Ive had the pain drop to knee but its an isolated incident that happens every 50 injections and never pinpointed the cause. Usuall means oil got in fats and worked way down leg
My cycle is going smoothly for now and I don't want to mess it up. When the cycle is over, I might try this with a very small dose of the primo mixed in with my TRT test and see what happens. It's either that or I just chuck 6 vials of primo in the trash!
Was this a single isolated incident? Only one injection? Could there be the possibility of contamination or particulated matter involved during injection? Interesting.
Hi, I injected twice. The second time was worse. Both were drawn from the same vial. Vial looked clear/normal, but I did not send it out for testing.
It can happen. Hard to point out what's the cause because some folks don't react well to the enanthate ( ethanoic acid ester). Can be irritating to some folks. Just recently we're seeing asses on fire from test e. That happened in the past also. That situation was bad. Some say it's a manufacturing issue, who knows.
The tren and EQ I'm currently using are both enanthate ester, but from a different source. I don't seem to be having the same issue with those products, but thanks for the suggestion.
So you are running EQ, Tren, Test and Primo? Who is advising you? Is this just a fuck it see how many grams of gear I can run type of thing or what? You’re playing a very dangerous game here.
No. At the time, just test and primo. When I had trouble with the primo, I dropped it and added EQ.
Edit: I seem to be tolerating the EQ well and have dropped my aromasin successfully. Will get updated bloods in a few weeks.
Gotcha. The wording wasn’t clear, what about the tren?
I guess that was the confusing part. Ok
Apologies - I’m trying to reply to everyone’s suggestions and wasn’t very clear.
No apologies. You're good. Just be safe while doing this stuff
Well test in that mix isn't the issue, it's the fact that those other 3 you mentioned pretty much all accomplish the same thing.
I was referencing the absurdity of the amount of gear he’s injecting into his body and seems to be doing so with 0 regard to bloodwork or health markers. His OP said test/primo at 500/500, then he’s down here telling you he’s currently running Tren and EQ….
Yeah I agree with that off the top. U know I'm all about safety.I was pointing out those 3 hormones, pretty much all cutters.
Russian Roulette with steroids lol
Lmao...aye like I told 87..... you're so HARSH!
Hey man maybe he works at NASA
@smurfdude1234567 this was a close one but he cleared it up so to speak
That NASA Astronaut word is here to stay. Gotta use it when we see appropriate lolol.
U sure that EQ is enanthate ester? Usually cyp or Undecly
I apologize - you are correct. The EQ is Undecylenate. The tren is enanthate. Also, my test is cypionate so it looks like I handle these three esters well, on different products at least.
Maybe including the SRC or asking on their page/messages if anyone has experienced similar could give some insight.
I personally don’t experience PIP from primo much, but I’ve heard of some- what concentration is it (mg/ml)?
Slightly heating and/or mixing with sterile MCT oil is known to reduce PIP, but if your theory of an allergen is correct I’m really not sure.
Thanks. I already emailed the source separately. They responded promptly, but didn't really have anything that would help. I thought I'd expand this to the community for more ideas.
Therealist2018I rarely get any pip. I do 2cc’s of primo200 in my delts and quads with no issue. Sometimes though I get a slight lump. Goes away in a day or so. I can go for weeks without it happening and then boom it happens. My wife does my delts and she a pro with it. No I don’t hide my gear from my wife. ( just learned a few days ago some people do). So 3rd time may be the charm lmao.
