So the Secret service has rushed Former President Trump off of stage at his rally after an active shooter situation. I'm just now seeing the news on it and it does look like he's bleeding from the face or ear. Now I'm no Trump or Biden guy but this is 100% wrong plain and simple. I've said before, after he gets elected there would be problems but I didn't expect this at all. Like I said it's wrong for anyone to suggest assignation of Biden or Trump. But not sure why this surprises me because there has been soo much damn hatred from both sides which has been made obvious, hell a blind man can see that. Anyways no karma needed just comment if you feel need to or don't comment. We're living in horrible times.

My areas local politicians get better security detail than that. How on earth do they let someone climb up on top of a building that close and get multiple shots off? People in the stands saw him climbing up the building and nothing was done.

When you have someone of Trumps status doing a public speaking engagement, with an approaching election this important, how is the entire area not on lockdown surveillance? This wasn’t some elite ex military following through on a perfectly planned attempt. They allowed some random fool with a gun to breach and setup shop within earshot of someone equally loved and hated by the majority of the world. Arguably the highest profile human walking the earth right now. This doesn’t just happen unless it’s allowed to happen.
No no you give too much credit to anything involving the government. I work for the government. Hold a high level of clearance, because I respond to high level threats such as CBRN. Which is something monitored at all major sporting events such as the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, etc. Things can easily slip through cracks, because government employees are no longer hired based on skills for the job. We literally have meetings saying we have too many white men in the workforce and they need more women and minorities to meet metrics from the administration.
How that’s not considered racism is beyond me. Because if white men were saying the opposite we’d instantly be thrown out and labeled racists.
But that is why shit like this happens. There’s MANY players behind the scenes to plan an event like this. They’re all government employees, and DEI requirements have eroded all functional capabilities of every branch of government.
But remember if anyone said anything similar to that about Kamala Harris they were attacked and told they are racist. Look now! Everyone was right and she is the most under qualified person in history to serve in the white house. These guys are bred to do this job.. recruited in some cases with backgrounds highly screened.. Folks are giving their opinions but I don't know. But situations like this are known to happen because we all are human regardless of training
As with everything in life, it’s predicated around a bell curve. There will be many average, 1/4 below, and 1/4 above. The ones above average are likely guarding the actual president. And not an ex pres or someone running for pres. Just how it works. Then even SS is supplemented with Tier 1 folks when they travel abroad because they have the actual skills needed to protect VIPs if needed. But even they aren’t free from the bell curve.

Yup well being a cop doesn’t all of a sudden make you any more or less capable than a regular civi. My experience has been they’re worse than the avg civi, and I wouldn’t trust my or my family’s life in their hands.

I do not pay much attention to the current events of this country. They do not interest me much. I only see what I’m forced to see out of the corner of my eye. I study history and none of this is new under the sun. The momentum this country has is too strong to stop.
