Coinbase is the one I would stay away from. Easy to use but if you google their reviews you will see multiple reports of people's accounts being locked out with no reason, transactions on hold till you provide your ID and selfie again, and their site going down.

Obviously this is not good especially at times when the value of a crypto is falling sharply and you can not even access your account to move your money. Or making an order from a source, purchasing btc to send to your source then your account gets locked and by the time it gets unlocked the value of your btc has decreased.

I use exodus as it is the most secure and you can set your fees manually. Also lets you change your wallet address. Can also link external crypto hardware wallet.

In the wallet click on Bitcoin then in the right hand corner there are 3 dots like a menu sign, click this. Then click advance option and then "enable multiple addresses" there also the option below to set custom fees which you can also enable and then each time you set up a transaction you can set the fee manually.

I don't know much about Apple pay but I wouldn't register or use my personal payment details on the wallet as the whole appeal of Exodus is trying to keep anonymous.

The network fee to send the money on the exchange is calculated automatically by most crypto exchanges and is deducted from the amount you are going to send (plus the fixed fee). It is normally calculated so that your transaction is usually processed within 30 minutes (from experience). The fees can range from £2-£20 depending on the volume on the BTC exchange. The idea is that the higher the network fee you pay the higher the priority and the quicker your transaction will be processed.

However using Exodus I can manually adjust the fee that I want to pay for my transaction. I have set the fee as low as £0.10 and my transaction still gets processed within 30 minutes.

Cashapp, Bitpay are both good. Coinbase is also ok.

I use coinable. I think no matter what the first time you use any of the apps for buying crypto you have to in the beginning
