Finasteride on Cycle Only Question
ad
Hi,
I have seen a few topics related to this, but was trying to get a specific answer. For those that take Finasteride when doing a cycle, when do you start and stop taking it? Does it go along exactly with your cycle or do you start it before your cycle? End it after PCT?
Thanks in advance.

basskiller89I've been using .5mg dutasteride every morning for over 8 months on and off cycles. It has completely stopped my hairline from receding and thinning. It does cause minor shedding where a few extra hairs fall out, but I personally would be way worse off without it. Have had no problems on very high test. Also, it cleared up my skin, breakouts are rare if ever, the only time I get issues with that is when I lower or higher my test dosage, the fluctuation causes initial blemishes that subside within a week or two
From my understanding fina is a safer alternative because it has been tested more. I think a high dose of fina is slightly less effective than a low dose of duta. .5mg duta ed suppressed over 90% of total dht. fina has a much quicker half life so you would be fine starting it with or a couple weeks before your cycle. duta has a 3 month half life so I would say probably start it 3 months before your cycle. i'm not sure if you need either but I can share my experiences
I actually started using both those during my last cycle. I’m seeing it more in the temple areas though. I’m almost 40 and started seeing the hair loss more and more about 7-8 years ago. But you guys wouldn’t recommend using Finasteride at all on cycle?
RustyhookerIts your life. Your choice. Daily theres paranoid folks coming in with alleged hair loss issues. So is it real or is it mental picture? Ive seen plenty of guys with no hair loss. Its genetics bro. Look at your parents, grandparents etc.
Avoid dht cycles. Easy.
Read the side effects of fina. And realize also that dht is stronger than testosterone. As well as whats being blocked. What its doing inside your body in a whole.
Then look at the shampoo that works at the scalp.
Whats your stats, goal and cycle plans? Bloods run?
I'd try nizoral shampoo first , it works great for a lot of guys I know , topical minoxidil + nizoral if the nizoral doesn't do anything by itself . It can be annoying applying it twice daily but its proven to work for hair loss . Do you only lose hair on cycle ? If so minoxidil won't be any good because you'll lose any hair that grew back if you stop using it .
RustyhookerIt isnt good choice imo. Get the shampoo.
