Water intake pre contest!

Hey 5.5weeks out and tighening up!
How much water do you guys drink as you prep for a show?! I'm at about 1gallon a day of pure water no crystal lightBS or anything straight gallon of water and sometimes ill pour some of the gallon into a shaker and add a scoop of aminos with a meal for some flavor (my coaches EAAS supp is godly tasting makes me happy lol) but other than that it's a straight gallon. Curious to know if you guys drink more or less. I hold very little water so I'm not worried about upping my intake until peak week. I'm pretty dry.

Ok mate now what I am going to tell you your probably not going to like but here it goes. You say you have a coach? Well why have him if your not going to listen to him? Seriously mate if your doubting simple things like water intake now when it gets closer to the show your going to doubt him even more. Listen to one person and one person alone. Otherwise your going to go backwards. No one here knows the plan that your coach has worked out for you during your lead up. I am speaking here purely from both sides as a competitor and a coach. So I know exactly how it rolls mate. Do yourself a favour and your coach. Listen to him and him alone.
TryHarder007I'm not doubting him.. I know the amount of water for me is fine I was curious to know what others have their intake as. It was just a question I was thinking about. I don't doubt him, I was wondering what about of water others drink on the daily during prep
Ah no worries mate. I am just used to people asking advice on all sorts of stuff comp prep related and all they do is get screwed over mate. When it does come to Como prep mate it doesn't matter what everyone else is doing mate. Just give what your doing maximum effort. Your efforts will certainly reflect in your condition on stage mate. Take care and good luck. Also don't forget to post some pics of your success. Now getting in shape and on stage is success in its self.
I stick around 2 gals for most of prep. Most important is peak week. There is ,more to it then just water intake then. You've probably seen this but it is pretty foolproof.

TryHarder007Awesome read! My coach will be calling 2-3 times a day peak week and every day asking for pics. He said show day he will want pics every few hours! Lol he's awesome he will call me randomly to see how I'm doing and stuff! I get a carb up this Saturday before legs
depending on my update pics most likely I'll be getting SUSHI as my refeed! So excited lol gunna take the lady to the zoo and then sushi pre leg day nice little date
1-1.5 gallons is pretty standard. peak weak it can go up to close to 2-2.5 gallons per day.
im 9 weeks out and im doing a 1.5 gallons right now. if your at a gallon and everything seems to be going ok i wouldnt worry about it.
