+ 2 big ass target on yo ass

ad

Hey kids, Ed here.
With the recent takedown of a few sources I think it has a few people scrambling and a few people worried about their own security. In my opinion, rightly so.
I think too many people get complacent thinking "it won't happen to me" or "shit that bro has his ass covered, he won't go down".
I don't know kids if that's the right train of thought.
Nothing is secure on the Internet. Nothing. "What choo talking about Ed? I have an Ashley Madison account and that shit is secure!"
Exactly, if punk ass kids can hack a multi million dollar site, you bet your ass govt. hackers can hack pretty much anything.
"But the govt. can't afford the best hackers Ed!"
You bet your ass they can. Do you know how many MIT geniuses there are out there who take 30k/year jobs because they are so socially retarded that they can't sell themselves?
About 25%
Oh shit Ed. That's right kids.
Mid July, the Feds took down a site called Darkode. It was a meeting place for some of the worlds top hackers. The Feds hacked it and brought every one of their asses down.
Google that shit.
Kids, juice suppliers are an easy target, an excellent way for the Feds to fill up a table with a photo op. When the real drug busts are running lean. The Feds know that they aren't dealing with violent criminals who will kill them like the coke dealers will, they know they are likely dealing with a gym rat trying to make a little extra so they can afford pharma instead of the shit they are running.
My thoughts...if they want to bring someone down, they will bring them down. So be careful. There is a big ass target on your back, weather you like it or not.
I Could be wrong though, it happened once in 1993.
Have a blessed day.
All my love, no homo
Ed.

I think that all depends. If they raid someone like the green guy, open up his records and see that you are buying ridiculous amounts of juice...I would think that would be of interest to them. Could be wrong.
What's to say after a bust a customer list isn't sent out to local agencies? Sure a guy that has 1k worth of gear might not be of interest to an LA cop but what about Barney Fife? Hell yeah he's going for the bust.
Of course this is all speculation on my part.

Definitely a concern. What I have seen in the past is the Feds take over the operation, take orders and complete controlled deliveries to those that have placed worthy orders.

XanaxKing would be the most recent example of this.

kodiakGRRL's picture

Last time I checked they couldn't "sell" actual product

Muffins's picture

In the XanaxKing example, the arrest took place and orders were still accepted, shipped and folks arrested. It took the news report for his customers to be aware something was wrong.

interesting ...

In this artical, a DEA agent was noted as processing their orders. In this context, while the operation was still going. However, if they can process orders undercover what's stopping them after the arrest.

As you can see, they guy had an internet presense, People are all about vanity so they post selfies of themselves either on instagram or facebook without stripping the data then they post here. Anyone with half a brain knows to trace it and then they see the same moron on facebook with his city and state, where he works, what gym he goes to. People make it very easy for le to do their job because ego before intelligence equals loss of freedom. I remember one source doing a promo looking for full on porno pics and people were posting their faces and everything just to win a few bottles of test. This was not a promo here but on the site. I was laughing my ass off at the sheer stupidity especially when they had their real names as well.

He turned over the list of buyers.

kodiakGRRL's picture

was it an actual agent or a ci... ?

Muffins's picture

Good catch; I missed the word informant. I do know that orders were still getting shipped after the arrests. So, maybe, they allowed the informant to continue the operation under their supervision.

tonytulo's picture

That could mean they didn't get one of the shippers before he got some packs out and than obtained the list of buyers.

Muffins's picture

Totally, anything is possible. But when arrests are made and PGP encrypted messages are being sent a week after the arrest, I get a little more suspicious than just a shipping straggler.
