+ 2 the importance of your pct
Firstly sorry about the amount of forums lately, very forum happy (this forum is for the beginners to aas, as most experienced people will already know this)
But I believe this information is important to new users aas.
Subject content-
1. What is a pct
2. The importance of pct
3. Hpta
4. Some example pcts
Firstly post cycle treatment (pct) is one of the most important aspects of aas use (one of, not the only) as you have just spent all this hard earned cash, time and effort into gaining as much muscle as possible and want to keep all of it. So your finished your cycle your done right?.....wrong. Once your finished your cycle you will be suppressed, back before 1980's the pct concept wasn't really developed and s.e.r.m.s weren't known, noone knew exogenous administration of anabolic steroids resulted in triggering the body’s negative feedback loop of the HPTA (Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis) and that endogenous Testosterone production would, as a result, become suppressed and/or shut down. As a result your bodys Testosterone levels will be low, Estrogen levels will be higher, and levels of Cortisol (a steroid hormone, commonly named the stress hormone destroys your hard earned gains ;)) will be at normal levels. With Testosterone levels low and Cortisol levels in the normal (or high) range, Cortisol now becomes a threat to the newly created muscle it can literally waste away. As a result, serms was introduced into bodybuilding. Serms (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators) The use of a serm is that it exhibits Estrogen agonist and Estrogen antagonist effects on the body. This means that although a SERM will block the effect of Estrogen at the cellular level, which in return helps your Hpta to recover and your natural hormone levels return to nnormal. The HPTA is the Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis, which is an axis within the body interconnected with the endocrine glands, the function is to deal with the control of Testosterone production. Factors like genetics, diet, body composition, age and physical fitness determine the amount produced. The Hpta works on a negative feedback loop, this signal is controlled by the hypothalamus, which is head gland for all endocrine and hormonal functions in the body. Things that suppress Hpta function are;
1.Excess Testosterone (injecting anabolic steroids)
2.Excess Estrogen (result of stoping aas or other fafactors)
By planning a correct pct plan you'll insure your Hpta recovers faster and stronger and you'll level your hormones. It is strongly recommended to get a blood work to determine if your body has recovered from your last cycle, factors to consider are 'how long it takes for your body to clear the steroids and pct drugs' and below is key hormones you will need to look.for and make sure are recovered are the following 5 hormones to homeostasis:
- GnRH (Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone)
- LH (Luteinizing Hormone)
- FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone)
- Testosterone
Your pct is tailored to your experience and what particular steroids where used in your cycle. I can not tell you what to take, especially as I'm new to the whole aas thing as well and the above is a result of personal research and I only wish to share it with you guys but for an example of a beginner pct on mild compounds could be;
Depending on ester and life's of steroids-
Novaladex 40/40/20/20
Clomid 100/100/50/50
Possible hcg during
Thanks guy's. I only wish to share some interesting information that could have helped me along time ago. So here is a very simplified version. Hey experienced people could you filter to make sure I.got.it all right as this is my first attempt and only want to help the best I can and give my opinion within the community

Just curious, been off and on cycles for years and have taken my PCT's pretty diligently. I have never tried Caber and was curious about how its worked for anyone? Sides? good things?
Thanks!
