I have always heard that Apple does not cooperate with LE in any nation when it comes to customer privacy being breeched. Their IMessage which appears to the user as a text message is actually an instant message chat between two ppl or group. I remember a case in SoCal where the feds needed to access a drug lords texts but upon going to AT&T they were told they can't give them transcripts from i messaging because they (AT&T) didn't have access to ghem either. They were pointed toward Apple. Upon requesting transcripts to this drug lords texts Apple proceedeed to tell the DA to suck their balls and good luck getting a warrant for it.
Not sure how that panned out in the end but it was a bold statement by Apple and I was a loyal customer following the news. Well now supposedly they've taken it a step further. We all know that Mac is superior to the PC and rarely if ever get infected. Their security is second to none. And being Cali boys they're very liberal and love to flaunt their tree hugging ways. So now they are running shoulder to ahoulder with Project Guardian and the ppl at the onion joint. The iOS 8 is bad ass in itself but this news takes the cake! Got me sold! Bad ass phone too!
