gallbladder issues/ stomach issues

ad

many of us using AAS especially certain orals can have some unwanted stomach problems. I started my cycle thursday. I have a history of gallbladder issues primarily biliary colic.i am typically careful of my food choices and fat intake to avoid or minimize gall issues and stomach problems. I take a few supplements that aid in helping me with those issues when im on orals which until last night havent flared in 3 years. I dont have gall stones. i over produce gall bile which is extremely painful. my gall bladder gets some serious inflammation and swollen when it happens.

what things do you do, use, avoid or eat to help?

what are your worse compounds that cause stomach issues?

I avoid things like pepperoni, spicy food, greasy foods, excessive dairy, and junk foods. I take lecithin, vitamin c , fish oils, B complex, B 3,and a multi vitamin. I also take tumeric daily.

Wow, I can't believe I'm reading this right now. I've been struggling off and in with gallbladder problems for the last few years. Ice cream ruins me. I have the sludge thing going on too - at least that is what my MD thinks. I'm doing a hideascan in the next few weeks. (Any surgery will be after EBC if course)

Squats aggregate the shit out of my gallbladder. It hurts so bad I can't even breath sometimes. It's very inconsistent, I'll be fine for weeks, than one day it will flare up and bother me for days.

Good luck brother, I hope you get your issue resolved.

Keep reducing the fat in your diet until the problems subside. I realize you have all these healthy fats in your diet but in terms of the liver releasing bile and gall bile it can't discriminate. TUDCA helps reduce swelling in the bile ducts of the liver and can be of some help. The enemy here is fat of any kind.

if you're having issues it's only going to get worse... Have it removed... Had mine removed years ago..

Not me. Ive had an umbilical hernia repaired so because of the mesh, they couldnt remove mine from there. They did about a 1 1/2" incision on my upper abs. Took me about four days before i was able to get out of bed and walk downstairs. You wouldnt believe how much your upper abs are involved in everyday movements. (Such as turning your head) I thought i was going to tear something back open when i started laughing at a stupid youtube video.

There is always the option of having it removed. I would lay off the fish oil. Any type of food with a lot of fat in it will have it working overtime. I dont know what would cause it to be colic (inflamed) in the first place, but lay off the oils, nuts (especially peanuts), dairy, hamburger unless its lean. I feel for you man! I didnt have the option of trying to control mine with diet. Three years without a flareup is pretty dang good.
I dont know if i could tell you anything you dont already know about the diet. My advise is if it continues to cause you trouble, it might be the time to have another look at surgery.
