Looking to learn more about short cycles

I'm really interested in hearing from the more experienced members about short cycles, and the proper PCT usage afterwards. I've read many of the old posts via the search button and there's a little info out there, but want more first hand knowledge if it's available. Here's what I'm looking at....

Test Prop/Var 6 week cycle
week 1-6 Test P @ 150mg EOD
week 1-6 Var @ 50mg ED

PCT Nolva 100/50/50 Clomid 40/20/20 starting 3 days after last Prop pin

I'm looking for critiques to this to help expand my knowledge of how short cycles work and how PCT changes or doesn't change with short vs long cycles.

Goal for this type of cycle would be slow sustainable gains over the years. Less blow up then shrink down.

Priors on profile as well as current stats.

The "high intensity" aspect of the cycle leads me to believe as you stated that they are only for advanced users. For anybody else it sounds like a boatload of trouble.

Now that I am on TRT, I'll have to look into these short blasts. Seems like thats where that type of protocol would be better suited for. The short blast would keep the receptors from getting saturated and with TRT you wouldn't have to worry about continually getting shut down from the blast and trying to recover. Seems like it would be quite a roller coaster if you had to do a PCT after every short blast.

Imo 2wks you better be real close to your goal. I think 8wks is good to hit reasonable goals.

If your running 2 week cycles you just need to make more realistic goals for that time frame. Just as with any other cycle.
