Girl Friend Fat loss

Hey ladies I just wanted to pick your brain a little bit. My girl is currently 16 weeks out from a bikini comp. and she is 20% bf and weighs about 130 at 5'2''. I currently have her on the p90x portion diet. She often struggles with counting calories just because she gets so stressed about her body image and trying to micromanage her life. I believe that she is not consuming enough calories a day to allow her body to lose fat..she wont listen to me simply because she thinks "more calories = more fat"

What advice can I give her on dieting and training for her competition? What worked for you?
ps. She has been searching around for a good fat burner, I use Lipo6 currently but I am unaware of a good fat burner for women?

D has is covered. Diet will be the major key.. make all of her carbs high fiber veges like brocoli. cauliflower, spinnach... greens etc.. no potatoes no rice absolutely no pasta , bread , cereal etc.. most "fat" burners are bullshit scams..

I know this is in ladies lounge and all...but honestly man, she just needs to buckle down and eat 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight/day. Keep her carbs minimized to around 50-75g/day...its tough but doable and have her do some fasted AM cardio, then eat/protein shake. Have her sip on BCAA's and glutamine preceeding and during cardio. That's what I would do for her.

Could always throw on a good fat burner...there are lots of them... 4g of CLA too? IDK

Thanks DBG, Yeah her biggest problem is carbs IMO, and she doesn't get enough calories from protein. Are CLA's worth the money? Ive hear mixed reviews on it. I will look around for a good fat burner for her to try out, and Ive got her on the BCAAs before and after she works out and she seems to be liking it.

If she wants some speedy results...then carb cutting is where its at...or you could carb cycle too...2-3 light days followed by a medium intake day...2 more light days followed by a heavy day...so on and on. A day after the higher intake days then obviously you would schedule crushing your legs or do a chest/back routine. The option I gave you was more of a keto...its a slippery slope IMO but ppl love it. I can only go so many days before I have to carb up again or else I feel like shit

Oh and CLA...plenty of independent studies verifying its effect on altering your lean body mass to fat ratio. IMO it also keeps catabolism at bay

Someone pointed me for this? Wow...ok. I just figured some of that was common knowledge.

As for the supps...I think many ppl don't believe in them...but I do to a certain extent...just to clarify
