-1 Meals on the go
Hey I wanted to hear what some of you guys do when you are trying to eat but too busy to cook?
I have a very busy schedule and spend about 50-70hrs a week at school. I have long lunch breaks each day but thats about it. So I usually just eat as much as I can in the morning then bring snacks to eat - apple banana then eat a huge lunch which is usually sushi or subway. then I go back to school and have class for another 5 hours then its 10pm at night till I get home. I spend 3 hours cooking either BBQ or on the stove and get about 1lb of meat whether its fish or steak or beef of some sort. Or chicken. I spend those 3 hours eating my first meal then cooking then eating the second meal so I get about 70% of my total daily protein during those 3 hours because I just don't have time during the day to cook.
I wanted to hear what some of you plan and how you manage to get 400g protein per day while being gone most the day. I can usually have access to a microwave during school so I could heat up but I'd love to hear suggestions. I'm thinking about getting plastic tupperware cups and throwing meals in those and using that to plan my meals. lets hear what you guys do ! thanks

For lunch I usually go for Brown Rice, with either boiled egg or steamed chicken breast and green salads....quick easy to cook and full of vital vitamins and Proteins.
I love to cook a big old pot of venison chili. You could use beef or chicken then i seperated it into round tupperware and freeze it. I bring a bowl or 2 to work and you can microwave it frozen so it doesnt have to defrost add cheese onions its aweasome . Ive tried cooking alot of meat at once but i dont enjoy it microwaved but the chili taste as good as day 1
thanks guys i appreciate it, I'm gonna get creative! I'm not going to let my schedule get in the way of my protein
I too cook either Sunday or Monday my off day for the week. I grill all of my chicken, Fish, Steak and everything else. I stack them up high in the fridge in tupper ware. I'm sure your school has a microwave somewhere. I carry a huge lunch pale and throw Protein bars, Canned Tuna, Protein Powder etc..
I'm at school most of the day too. I've got a stash of flavored tuna packets and rice cakes in my locker. Quick and easy meals
Low salt cottage cheese. Get the 500 gm container. Eat half in the morning half in the aft. Now save the containers. Put a fistful of meat and a fistful of carb in each. Bring 2 of those with you a day. Greek yogurt 500 gm. Put a scoop of whey and some nuts and fruit in it, eat half in the morning half in the aft. There you go add an apple and some salad and you are good to go. This is what I do and I work some hellacious long hours. 6 500 gm meals are with you all day!
i pack a lunch everyday. but, i'll sometimes spend my sundays cooking things that will last the week. might fire up the pit and grill some steaks, chicken, etc. make some tuna salad, whatever i can think of.
Greek yogurt mix with protein powder, oat, and coconut oil.
