Recommended Blood Tests Prior to TRT

ad

If somebody (in this case, me) was to run their own TRT and wanted to go about it properly, would this be a good set of labs to run for the initial set. Then run the typical female panel every 3 or 4 months? What would you add or remove?

Just doing a little research to see what it would cost to run this once a year (or every other) and the female panel. Factoring the costs for everything for the entire year.

I'm also thinking one way to save if you have a flex spending account, I would think you could use that to pay for these (pre-tax dollars!)

Input/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

The female hormone panel will give you everything you need and then some. Many doctors just run test and free test prior to prescribing testosterone to patients. The reason you run the female panel is that it give you the best bang for the buck by a long shot. If you post your results when done (be very careful to omit any personal/physician/location information), I'm sure you get get sufficient dosage/compound feedback to start your own treatment. That is, if you need it at all.
