Assuage my fears: Is this package gone
ad
Package arrived in CA on July 24th, still in customs apparently. Time to get worried or am I just panicking for no reason?
Also, assuming it has been seized, what happens next?

The name is what gets flagged. Not the address.
You'll receive one advisory letter and one letter stating what they found. Trash these. And change names on package
How many people here know what assuage means? I didn't :(
By the context I figured it out, but I did google it to get the definition! LOL
For the most part I agree with Jim.
I've had packs in customs for a month. If it's seized you'll get a letter. There will be no other discourse. If you get the letter keep in mind even though there is no reason to freak out, you have to be careful. Don't use the same address. They won't come for you.
Any reason why he shouldn't use the same address? I heard that "flagged" address was a myth..
Well then just to be safe I guess!! I don't know the inner workings of customs and the dea, but I know if I get a letter I'm changing some shit up.
He will get two letters. That he does not have to reply to.
I didn't realize there are two, but I did forget to mention Do Not Reply to them. Just throw em out and rock on.
AnonWhat do these letters entail? Just stating that the package contains contraband items?
AnonSome consistency would be nice, I've had packs go through in a day or two. Thanks man, appreciate it. I definitely feel a tad better about this now.
