We live in a world that would be only recognizable to our founding fathers as the country they broke free from. Our constitution is being eroded on a daily basis. our civil liberties are being taken all under the guise of safety. The new terrorists are Americans themselves. Our Country is far from THE REPUBLIC it was founded to be, it is now owned by the corporate elite who on a daily basis sell us out in the name of greed and control. If you think our President is elected you are sadly asleep. Elite groups like the Bilderbergs, the Council of foreign Relations, The Club of Rome etc. decide who will purport their agenda and therefore choose who will be president. It has been said that John Kennedy is the last real president that we've had.
Our economy is nearly non existent. Out food, water and air is being deliberately polluted on a daily basis with no regard for human life or any life for that matter...Soon the dollar will be de valued and the United States will be unrecognizable if we as a ppl do not stop things in their path now.
So i ask you this; if they came to confiscate American's guns and tried to oppress or confine us with our own military or outside contractors, declared Marshall Law, would you resist; or wld you go along peacefully and concede like the ppl of Boston did?
As Americans everywhere go hungry, cant get jobs, are in enormous debt, live just above poverty, or are one sickness away from poverty, or are sick and malnourished with poor health care; this is a question we seriously need to start asking ourselves; Would you literally fight for freedom, would you resist, would you be part of the Revolution?

Just not feeling the fight today, so I think I'll steer clear of this and just crack jokes today. However, I would have no problem killing anyone to preserve freedom for my family. Especially my right to bear arms.
I personally think JFK was over-rated and think the last great president was Regan. I liked Bill Clinton and think he is a sharp son of a bitch. But totally disagreed with his politics. And wouldn't classify him as great. He got lucky to be the sitting president during the dot com boom.

AnonI actually liked George H W Bush better than Reagan. At least Bush sr recognized Reagans economic policy as "vodoo economics " and the best way to destroy the middle class. At least Bush sr knew how to run Desert storm. I guess Reagan wasnt bad other than his drug war, Iran Contra, increasing the debt massively, and giving money to Bin Laden. Expanded government by about 90 % . Deregulated corporate America to really beging the special interest groups in politics .Plus he only got lucky that the Russians ran out of money first. Other nations saw a strong US president and rebelled. The Soviets saw the writing on the wall and quit.
As far as debt goes, check those numbers again. The amount and percent of GNP was a drop in the bucket to what Obama has spent. Not to mention, that we also enjoyed the "peace dividend" created by ending the cold war.

Dangerous post on an open forum lol. Resistance is easy for anyone willing to live off the grid, killing people is a bit more difficult. In general, I would guess 80% of the US population want a modern form of socialism. The word might be taboo, but it seems like everyone wants something free. Either way, the global economy is collapsing over time. We just need a few decent epidemics or wars to reduce the overall population by about 50% forcing a more sustainable lifestyle. I have no qualms about triple tapping someone who threatens me, but I'm not sure I could shoot an 18yr old army private that is just following orders to try to contain a neighborhood.

in Jersey we have such strict gun laws...which was never the way the 2nd amendment was intended to be....i applied for a permit and had to go through a police back ground check, finger printed etc. so if there was gun confiscation they know exactly where to go.
AnonI dont understand, to drive a car you need a permit, then to take a test, get an eye exam, and still they can take that away from you,plus you are required by law to buy insurance , does that bother you like a gun licence ?

AnonI am aware of that, but the only reason it isnt is because the automobile wasnt invented when the constitution was written, just like the concealable high power weapons of today. Perhaps if cars and composite guns had been around the constitution would be different. Till then is simply an example of something we have to licence, but yet dont really bitch about.
The constitution has nothing to do with what was available at the time....it pretty much covers human rights, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and justice and the right to protect yourself from tyranny and to protect yourself in general..it gives us the right to freedoms that are indelible to under the laws the govern the universe...we were never intended to be owned and that's what the constitution sets forth no matter what time period you live in. The only thing wrong with the constitution is that women weren't part of writing it.
