Hello everyone I have a question? I have noticed when I inject short acting esters in smaller muscle sites such as the delts I get really bad pip but when I inject in larger areas such as glutes and quads I don't experience this. just wanted to see if anyone else experiences this problem or if I was going to deep in my delts or doing something wrong? 23gauge 1inch needle is what I use in my delts any comments would be appreciated.

Shorter esters hurt more. I can't remember why, but if you would like to know the mechanism of action behind it, I can dig it up I'm sure :).

It's probably because the smaller muscles have less blood volumes and as the oil is absorbed the remaining steroid at the site can cause irritation
Just use your glutes for shorts and hit delta with long!

carguy78Thanks, yeah they have become so sore I haven't been able to use the delts as a site but once they heal I will only use it for longer esters thanks.
I did a half mL prop and half mL TNE on Thursday and my delt feels like I've been punched pretty good!
Like I said it how it is and actually if you keep hitting them it wouldn't be as bad, but use the long ester to get the muscle used to injections !!!

No reason for pip and my gear is very mild pip if any comes at all!

Anon25 gauge 1" will kill alot of pip in delts and short esters soak in fast so they do cause a little discomfort

carguy78well as for my procedure I would warm the oil and only inject 1cc but when they heal I will try the 25g if I get brave enough lol. probably going to only use that site for longer esters

carguy78seems that way, this is my first run of shorter esters I have always used long acting esters such as cypionate but this this time I front loaded the cycle with test propionate for 4 weeks and was planning on using it the last 3 weeks to taper with.
