Rome wasn't built over night remember that everything takes time. Your young don't be stupid and mess your body up. If you can do it naturally with out gear that's your best bet. If you do decide to take gear again make sure you do it the right way. Do your research on what your taking because some gear is a lot more toxic then other. Make sure your have everything planned with the proper supplements for liver support AI if needed and a proper pct to follow after your cycle. Talk to the vet's and mods on here if you need some advice.. Most of the time there more then willing to help out. You only get one body in life so take care of it cause you could really fuck your shit up doing things the wrong way.
Chaz32621Being strong in the legs is key, thats where a lot of your mass is. Especially in your back as well. You need to sit down and do a long study even on bodybuilding.com and start from ground one bro. Your at a hard point right now. Only champs come out of something like this. You need to lift big and eat big to get big bro. And sleep a lot. Becoming big and huge and looking great is a hard thing to do man. It takes dedication, time and commitment and just when you think you have it something else comes into play. You just cant take a pill or inject something and expect for it to do all the work it wont.
Look around you bro theirs only so many people who look the part to being a bodybuilder or having that athletic look. How do you think they got there? Not sitting on there ass not eatting mcdonals everyday. Not staying up late playing video games, and hell not injecting a shit ton of roids and not knowing how to grow. Its a hobby its a life choice, you think about it, you dream about it, and you do it. Its tough no shit welcome to the club, but the end results is what makes everything so much better. Then you can look around and see all the others who look like shit, or the fat obese population of Americans and laugh.
BirmonWhat is your lifting routine now? What kind of a split are you running? Do you lift alone? All those supps don't really matter much, if your gym routine isn't any good. Leave your ego in the locker room and start doing squats, even if you can't do much and you think you look like an idiot. Who cares, you'll never get stronger not doing it. Gym time is your time, nobody else exists during that time. You're on a mission.
Like everyone else is saying, eating is key. Plan your meals out. Spend a few hours once a week prepping your weeks meals. You could cook up a bunch of chicken, cut up all your veggies and tuperware them. Make a big pot of rice or beans, whatever else you can do to expedite your meals. I think a big part of why people don't eat the way they should, is they are just lazy about making a good meal, when you could just eat some junk in a few seconds. Prepping will make it easier and your less likely to cheat your diet.
AAS is something you might want to try after you've taken it as far as you can doing everything the right way. It takes years. When I first started lifting seriously I was 175, I could bench 200 barely and never did squats, like an idiot. Now, 7 years later. I'm 212, I bench 375 and squat 550. It takes time it's a lifestyle.
Good luck buddy
^^^^This man is speaking the truth. Nobody who is serious at the gym will think any less of you for doing low weights. If anything they will support you and encourage you, everybody started somewhere. I have mates who want to grow like I have and the hardest thing is to get them to realise that nobody is judging them when they hit the gym without me.
Eat, train, eat and sleep. Over and over again.
RustyhookerSo you're 20. Folks hollered and warned this would happen. Now your eyes are open. Its ALL bout the food. All day everyday. Nonstop food and gym. Not gear. Get help from the food gurus and master food before trying gear.
I don't see anyone mentioning it but you seem to have an aversion to doing leg exercises. You are only going to get so big without putting in the work on your legs.
BirmonYeah, this. Nothing better for building mass then doing squats. A lot of squats. It'll make you stronger in every other area, no joke. If I was only allowed to do one lift for the rest of my life, it would be squats.
Eat and sleep as much as you can bro. Nothing is gonna make u stay/get bigger than those 2 things.
AnonEAT! No aas. There is no need brother. You will thank us in the long run. Diet is key to building muscle. Food is the most anabolic thing you can take. Get your diet in check and lift hard. You will get there my man
AnonYeah there right you have to eat enough to hold that size and weight bro !
StevebI get the feeling you're not eating or exercising correctly. Take the advice given by nuk and swole.
nuknukThey're many good trainers online that are in the bodybuilding industry or compete themselves, that offer their services and will discuss and guide you on gear also. My advice would be to go with one of them. At 20 years old, it would be well worth your while to get started off right by someone who has a proven track record.
Have you used any of them?
If you want to be bigger and heavier, you have to eat more, it's really that simple. You need to create a calorie log, keep track of everything you eat in a day. If you're hitting 4500 a day or so I guarantee you will gain weight. Bodybuilding is a long long process, natural or not. You seem like you're expecting instant gratification. If you're not reaching your goals, just eat more and work harder, that always works.
