I saw a lady about 40ish (not a muscle in sight) doing bicep curls with 40lbs. she did maybe two (full of shit) reps. I asked her how long she has been lifting she said a year. I thought I would be nice and asked if i could give her a little advice (kai greens squeeze and stretch with less weight) She said sure. I talked to her for a min, then her ass hole husband jumped in and started going off on me like WTF??? I told him i wasn't talking to him but his wife, he kept telling me "you don't need to talk to her, you didnt see our work out... blah blah blah"... She is getting nowhere with a husband like that telling her what to do (lifting 40 lbs for bicep curls), especially with not a muscle showing after a year of "hard cord" lifting.. and yes I watched their whole work out.
Up Theirs!!
Thanks guys rant is over...
Anyways, after I had watched this, I have been lifting as Kai has said, I feel great and I am seeing significant results!! Something I will always keep in mind STRETCH AND SQUEEZE
I've been leaving my ego at the door more now after watching this video. Even though my father always told me, you're not a weight lifter, you're a bodybuilder; it doesn't matter how much weight you lift. Guess when I heard mr. O runner up say it, it sunk in more. The pump is insane now. By the time I'm done my shoulders, I can't even lateral raise 5 pounds lol. stretch and contract!
Nice vid. I've told many people the same thing... full range of motion not only gives you better development but will also give you full range functional strength. Leave your ego at the door.
Thanks for posting this. I watched it last night and was incredibly inspired. Lately, I've been doing weighted tricep dips. Tuesday I got up to 65 pounds, I really enjoyed it. Today, I went in and did body weight only and focused on the squeeze and stretch. Felt great! Got an even deeper pump than my weighted dip. Ended up burning out doing over head tricep extensions, at the end I was struggling to lift a five pound weight. I admit, I fell into that crowd of "weightlifters", I'm glad I saw this.
Would love to play this as a loop video in my gym. From 4pm to 8pm its all the bench and curl crowd. I want to bet them they couldn't do a real full rep with the half the weight they usually use.
I try to explain exactly what he said in this video to a bunch of my buddies who want to bodybuild. I tell them it doesn't matter how much weight you lift, but they don't want to listen. Maybe if they watch this video, it will shut them up lol.
I just finished up my triceps, and man, talk about a fucking pump.
