T3 and Raised blood pressure

ad

Ive researched many forums for the answer all a little mixed! Maybe a few experts on here could help me out.....

Does T3 ( average safe dosage tapered on and off ) raise blood pressure at all ?

Basic answers would be great! thanks.

T3 does carry a host of potential side effects.

The potential short term---and perhaps very uncomfortable, if not dangerous---increase in blood pressure is very real, and much worse when it's combined with certain substances. T3 makes me feel like absolute shit, and I will no longer touch it. But that's me.

Also, there's a reason why thyroid hormones aren't prescribed for weight loss in general: Blood pressure, again.

In certain cases, the side effects are ridiculously overstated; for example, "you'll blow out your thyroid if you use it for too long." Bullshit. But it's certainly not a drug to take lightly.

Depending on what you mean by the term "blowing out", I may be proof that's not exactly true.

Read my post below?

I'd encourage you not to touch it. Did you ever read that post about that lad that had the heart attack?

Not trying to scare you, but I had to have my thyroid removed and my heart stopped and restarted from abiding t3. Signing an authorising document for a procedure with a 10% mortality rate is NO JOKE. I have to take medication for life now.

In your case, you've stripped off do much without T3, you know how to drop bf anyway. Why take the risk?

Your right bro , I'm do VIKING ripped diet from tomorrow to see how that rolls dont wanna be in high blood pressure zone again.

Done my BP readings this morning got 119/70's best reading! Still gonna buy a bunch of stuff ( hawthrone and garlic tabs ) taking omega-3 at the moment ... every lil helps lol!

yes- very simplified- thyroid hormones work in part by driving up the effects of endogenous catecholamines- the neurotransmitters/modulators of the fight/flight response which increase heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, etc. Whether or not and to what degree taking cytomel/T3 will affect one person or another depends on individual health factors and maybe hard to predict. Be careful with that $hit.
