+ 1 Whats more important for 40+ ? Test or HGH
I have read some debates on this over time and curious what your thoughts are. If you had a set amount to budget would you focus more on HGH or on AAS (Test) in regards to anti-aging and staying fit? Both Test and HGH have a pretty significant drop at 40 but which do you think is more important?
My thoughts are its probably a case to case but I am pretty set on the concept of HGH. In my situation I fractured (not broke) a large amount of bones from the car wreck. I also busted my upper aorta and had emergency surgery. The problem was when you young the aorta is bent from the heat vs with older age it is straight making it easier to cut and repair. So I have 2 out layers torn and 2 stents (normally used to open arteries) that act as a band-aid of sorts. Its not real common and only been performed for about the last 8 years or so.
Soooo...my thoughts are obviously Test will help with all around balance mood, muscle and so forth. Some AAS like Deca and EQ are known for strengthening connective tissue and potential bone density increase I believe.
HGH is the thing that makes everything grow as well as bone density correct? I mean excessive use can result in enlarged organs (heart) enlargement of some features. Obviously that's in large dosage over time but you get the point.
So what would you spend more financial resources on HGH or AAS (namely test)?
Which tips the scale more towards the fountain of youth or which would you think would be a better path to reconstruct and improve the body vs redesign?, lol
Any thought or medical links on the matter GREATLY appreciated?......True

Man I wish I had more time to get on here....awesome reply and thank you!!!! You actually answered alot of questions i was actually going to ask ;)
Here is my thing..I don't want to use this TRT DRbc he will take me to the cleaners....so I am going to get labs and stick with the ones here that are very knowledgeable medically not just from personal experience. Make sense? I like that you broke that down.
Here is what I am concerned about (or confused) if your cycling and even if you stay on once you raise test above your typical rate doesn't that also mean elevated estrogen? I know estrogen is also important what I need to know is what, if any, is the ratio? If variable x = test then what should variable y be for estrogen/progesterone etc.. ?
As for the tren..I LOVE the stuff HOWEVER its harsh. I use to make homebrew and stayed on it for months...then i went into the Doctor for something totally different and he asked to run a blood test. My cholesterol was insane..if I told you how low the good cholesterol was you wouldn't believe me. And my bad cholesterol was high but it wasn't near the concern as the good cholesterol. My Doctor said in his 15 yrs he has never seen a number that low :/
Also the best gains I have got from tren was stacking with dbol for that very reason of the conversion. Correct me if I'm wrong but Tren + estrogen puts on more muscle mass than without. I don't mean taking birth control but you get the idea.
I just need to know after I actually do a "cycle" to get back to a point what ratios should things be at for TRT. What if I want my levels to always be a bit on the high side?
I'm tired hope I am making sense...:(
And yea man my kids are actually why I am doing this...they have watched me fall apart and it's time to get my ass back on track....kids always first..glad to meet people like you..:)
Thanks for helping

No problem bro, I'm glad I could offer some help.
Ok onto your first question -
Test converts into estrogen through the aromatase enzyme... but there is no set margin as to how much test would convert to estrogen. In general, the more test one takes, the more aromatization takes place. But, everyone is different as even a small dose of test such as a trt dose like 200mg can cause alot of aromatization in some people. Some guys can even tolerate high doses like 500mg with very little conversion to estrogen. It is a matter of finding one's sweet spot, bro.
Tren and estradiol can cause muscle growth, I don't know the science behind it but both compounds have been used in cattle to increase mass and it does work. So you are bang on, bro - you know your stuff. But, in my opinion its better to have as little estrogen as necessary instead of higher levels of estrogen which may influence better gains... because estrogen is still potent and too much can cause alot of shit in men.
Tren can really affect choloestrol, and at least you know that it does, so you'll be better prepared if you decide to jump aboard the tren train in the future. There are meds that can help but these are meds that you wouldn't really want to continue taking forever. I believe in the 'less is better' approach, if tren is causing huge spikes in 'bad' cholestrol and drops in the 'good' kind, than I'd personally stop using for the foreseeable future, as by stopping it, there would be no need to take powerful anti-cholestrol meds. The less meds taken, the better. I'm not having a go at you, bro lol - I'm just looking at it both ways.
The right trt levels vary, there is a shitty range that doctors go by to determine whether one needs treatment or not. In general, if your test level is something like 200 or less, you qualify for trt. The lower the test level, the better chance for getting higher levels of test from the doctors. I know of people who have been prescribed 250mg of test and 50mg of test gel. A combo like that will keep one's test levels higher than average. If it is not an option, one could always cruise whilst on trt with a short test ester which would be in and out of one's system within days depending on the person's body. If you could write your pre trt lab results on here, I'm sure people more knowledgable than me could advise you better, bro.
Your post made sense, don't worry lol - I hope mine makes sense though and I hope I've cleared some things up for you, bro.
thought you guys would find this interesting...
http://www.eroids.com/forum/hgh-peptides/rhgh/gh-short-term-effects-0
Great read and interesting...I didn't read it until after the above post. I agree 6 months isn't the time frame you will feel "effects" of HGH...I personally don't think 2 weeks I would say a min 4? Without labs obviously I'm guessing.
My thoughts are how long was it from your last injection and the HGH and what ester? Did you have water gains during cycle which as they settled down you would see the cuts you mentioned.
Also what if you only noticed the effects that fast BC you ran it PCT. Make sense? What I think you would have to do is a comparison with labs 1st as a PCT and then another with a length of time off AAS and then use HGH and test labs?
Just thoughts? I'm like you 100% on the "A type personality" so I loved your article but like you I have to dig into every detail.
Every experiment needs a comparison or placebo.
Your thoughts??
I began having those effects within 2 weeks. Some were noticeable within the first week. I was running 2iu a day of rips. I ran them for 6 months, not just pct. and I did run bloodwork on them. I had all of this posted with my old account. I left eroids some time back and my old acct was deleted. The info is still posted here but the author is "anonymous" bc my acct was deleted. Therefore, I'm starting fresh as of two days ago. From lvl 3 to basic.
You have me really wondering just how helpful HGH may be for PCT...excellent thinking and post...we need thoughts like this...thanks for sharing
Good read, what were you running/ how much were you running etc?
There is no doubt that HGH exhibits effects both long term and short benefits, however from my own experinace, the short term benefits are slower than the short term benefits of test. That said, it may be a case of it varying from person to person due to pre existing bf and, genetics etc. Yet I still firmly believe that test works in a better fashion in this circumstance, within a shorter time. I'm not trying to 1 up you bro, I might come across like that but its just some healthy/friendly debating intended to help benefit us all, as we are all in this together and wish to live healthier lives.
Right on...that sounds more like the info I am use to from the old school days...I hear post of HGH working instantly and I'm kind of shocked...again I have been out of the loop a LONG time...I'm scheduling blood work this week and full physical hopefully next..I may just order through the Dr but prices are HIGH!! But I need the real deal..:/
Also placing order for Test prop, Enan, Dbol and Deca from Muta...once I have test results I'll start everything and have no doubts...Doctor is HIGH though but I tend to think if its cheap then its cheap? IDK maybe I'm wrong?
Sorry bro, I just saw this message having just replied to another of your messages already lol, theres too much info flying around this thread haha.
As the guy below mentions, privatelabs might be helpful as it can be cheaper than the docs prices, but this is your call bro. I'd go with whichever one you feel more comfortable with. I see it like this - you can't put a price on health, especially if you are married as I'm sure you'd agree. Blood work is important for people like us.
I've not tried muta's gear but from the reviews, its potent and effective so you shouldn't have any issues there.
LMAO I am with you bro...I have posted then realized there was another above..:P
privatemdlabs.com is made up of a network of private labs that are very affordable. female hormone panel is what you want to run. it's only 60. but, whether or not you can use them depends on where you're from. this is USA only and some states have laws that prohibit private labs offering services to the public w/o doctors' orders.
I need to look into that...in Florida (where this doctor is & I use to live) I need a doctor to request for bloods and a full physical. However I am 900 miles north, lol So I need to check into that!!
It would be nice if I can do that!! I just want this guy for the initial easy script.
really depends on what your current serum and free test levels are at without AAS. if they're within normal range, then gh is the best option for you in terms of overall health and sense of well being.
hgh works so synergisticly with testosterone and the gonadatropic hormones that it will increase testosterone synthesis thru positive feedback loop. short term effects range from mood elevation, improved circadian rhythms (sleep patterns), improved energy levels, decreased BF, etc.
so, it really depends on what you're hoping to accomplish and what your current levels look like.
Thanks for the input....always nice to get detailed medical feedback...feels more like the old days. I did consider that running blood work would be a factor but I was curious how people would react to preference with one over the other for recovery and so forth...thanks for the input bro..:)....True
you're welcome
