Am I using too much weights?
Aight' it may sound a bit cheesy but this is serious. I think I'm using too much weights on some lifts for my size and that my body can't keep up with that (other than muscles). I have 2 cycles of Test E in my belt by the way.
Stats as of now (in PCT aftet Test E) 168lbs 5ft9 8-9 bf% maybe less I don't know, see all abs and rib cage.
On cycle I was
bench pressing 335 lbs x 5
military press with 105lbs dumbells for 6 reps
chin ups with 80lbs in beetween legs for 7-8 reps
Dips with 4x45lbs (180 lbs) attached on my waist for 6 reps
and so on
This week, on my shoulders and calves, I did 6x military presses with 100 lbs dumbells and on my fourth rep, it felt like I had nerves poping in my right forarm. It happened again when I did my Dips but this time, I just felt one pop.
I have little bone structure, hence my weight so I'm starting to feel like even if I have the strenght because I've been training for 6 years, my body is getting too much of a blast 'cause of the heavy weights I put over my head and around my waist.
All my training buddies have like 20-30 lbs more than me and are relatively lean but I'm like way stronger than them with my core lifts so I guess I'm the weird guy.
I'd like to hear what you guys think to see if I should drop down the weights or am I still fine and should not get injured if I work with proper forms.

if you cant feel the muscle contracting then you are using to much weight. to put it better if you can not control the weight and what i mean by that is if you are doing say barbell curls and you can't stop the bar at any give angle then it's to heavy. don't get me wrong training heavy is needed sometimes, but not all the time. give your joints a break and use lighter weight.
AnonNeed to see it yo believe it. 168 lbs doing 7-8 reps with 80lbs attached hah
cornfedjthur pretty fuckn strong for ur size dude
sgtstedankoPopping? Sounds like could be medial collateral ligament sprain. I would elevate it & ice it, take some ibuprofen. Taking it easy on what hurts, maybe wear a brace, only do basic range of motion exercises, etc. After a good week or so, if It's not any better, see a doc. Like dude below said. Not uncommon for gear to make you he-man, faster than your body can keep up with. This is one reason that I preach body weight regimes pre-cycle to everyone... Hope it heals well for you, bro.
just make sure you are warming everything up enough, you may not be quite as strong buy by lubing up the joints and ligaments you are reducing the risk of injury and for me, especially on leg day I really got warm up before I squat heavy or my knees kill me.
AnonIt is very common for the gear to make you stronger than your body can keep up with ! You should lift heavy of course to gain mass but don't over due it and your capable of knowing what's to much bro use your head ! Leave your ego at front gym door
