Ventro Gluteal

ad

So i did my first shot last night, just 250 mg of test-e and i was adamant i was going to go for the Ventro gluteal muscle as everything i read rates it as one of the easiest and least painful to hit.

2 attempts failed to hit the right spot (1st one bled on aspiration, 2nd didnt feel right) so i sacked it off and hit right quad instead and so far feels ok, maybe a dull pain like someone has punched it! (only did it 14 hours ago so may get worse!)

Does anyone here hit the VG muscle and can definitively describe where it is? All the diagrams on the net show locating it through a 2nd party guaging it with their hand!

Also, i hit my right upper quad but came in from the side more than the front which i saw afterwards in Spotinjections site, should this be ok?

Used a 25g 1" but i am pretty lean if that helps?

Boom! Manned up and went for it again, piece of piss! Have a little bit of discomfort there now but nothing i wouldnt expect from a virgin site!!

I can imagine that even if you were to get PIP here it wouldnt cause you too much grief.

i love the VG, for me the only way to know if i have pip there is to try and cross my legs and then push the crossed knee down. LOL not going to be feeling that pip normally walking around throughout the day. For me the VG is almost exactly at the point in my hip when i sitting down that my pelvis and leg make a crease. in fact, on my leg there is a fold in the skin when i'm sitting down and i know that right behind that is the VG. when i'm sitting down i can feel the vg flex by rotating my leg left and right, i prefer to hit the VG while seated, because when i'm standing up the exact same spot feels really high and i get apprehensive about putting a needle in there. also when i'm standing the VG is pretty tense and it feels like bone instead of muscle.

May try it seated next time as i started wobbling a little as i generally jab seated for quads !!

There's no organs there so if you don't hit a vein or nerve you should be just fine even if it's not ideal. Just shot my first time in ventrogluteal took a half an hour to map the right spot and cross check methods. Pinned no pain .75ml of sust 300. You supposedly can inject large amounts there with little to no pain.

All else fails make a paper hand as a guide.

shift your body-weight from one leg to the other while having your hand on the area, you'll feel the ventroglute pop out and flex from the weight shifts.

^x2 best way to find it. Painless.

well from my own experience 1" is to short a pi to get inside the glute deep enough. You need 1.5
I ended up with pockets of deca sitting in my fat ass.

For me I look in mirror. Flex muscle. You see it rise. I have a nice freckle for reference point, but you could use a marker or pen. Now sanitize the area.

Unclench your muscle. Line up the pin, Lock eyes in the mirror no homo, plunge gently. and aspirate etc. Be gentle with the muscle. I count to 45-60 for one cc as I slowly add the oil.
I have aggravated it by being to rough with it later

best of luck

Yeah the ventro is more towards the front of the body i think. I think i generally had the area and as i understand it is actually quite large.

I think some of it was down to nerves so when i saw blood, tried again i was still a bit panicky!

Quad was fairly easy! Would you say a 1" is long enough for VG and quad if i am lean?

Yes, If your in your glute make sure its the full pin but in your quad it dosent matter as much, But iv noticed the deeper you go the less pip you get. And about your glute just flex your ass see where the meaty part is, unflex and jam it, theres no certain spot really and it all gets way easier the more you do it. i just rotate around the same area but i NEvER stick the same exact spot.
