Little advice and motivation

ad

Ok guys as you all know hurricane sandy smashed the east coast and being that I'm from NYC I got affected heavily. I am in week 5 of a test p/test e cycle and everything was going grea, gaining 7 lbs in first 4 weeks while dropping body fat percentage by the week..lanyways due to the storm and the problems it has caused to my home, job, and town things got thrown off totally....I was out of power for 4 days making meals hard to get it without a oven, microwave or grill due to tree falling on it, on top of it my place of work go slammed leading us to work extra hours, long continuous hours to make make things right again also making meals hard to get in. Gym has been out of power for 5 days meaning I have no worked out in 5 days. Therefore, this passed week I have not trained hard like I should and definitely not been eating right, alot of turkey sandwiches and eating out at restaurants due to power outage and working makes it easier ultimately, I feel like shit and drained...drained from taking care of mine, relatives and work shit, and feeling like shit due to lack if training and that my diet is not what I want or have been eating at all,. Things are just about back on track, powers back, and time at work is made up, So my question is do I shut it down now or just buckle Down put this week behind me and continue right on going. Thanks for your time,

My town was hit hard to here in Jersey. My power came back after 12 hours(I was one of the more fortunate). My family and friends had no power for days. My house looked like Thanksgiving everyday 15 family and friends living here to stay warm take a shower and have a hot meal. I went food shopping everyday after work and every night cooked for everyone. Do to the fuel shortage caused by no power after dinner twice I went north 60 miles to NY state and brought back fuel, 40 gallons each time so I could put gas in my families cars.(One less thing for them to worry about). I missed the gym for the entire week and to be perfectly honest I didn't care.I spent close to a grand this week between food and fuel and didn't care I also refused money from everyone. My only priority was to make sure my family and friends were comfortable and I was grateful that everyone was safe. People lost family members and people lost their homes completely destroyed by the worst storm on record for our area. The gym will always be there but in this catastrophic time you need to prioritize, the safety of my family and friends comes WAY before the gym in my book. My advice to you is be grateful everyone is safe, forget about the loss of a week and just go back and start hitting the gym hard. Times like this show people and yourself what you are truly made of. I am glad to hear you are safe.

Brother moments like these define you. It determines what kind of man u believe u are and what others will see u as. Take care of your family first and foremost. Make sure your job is getting the worker they deserve. Hold ur head up because you are going to make it through all of this. One week down from the gym is fine bro. Do some pushups and calisthenics lots of mountain climbers. Go buy some free weights for home. It's totally up to you whether u want to end ur cycle brother. Whatever happens just remember there are moments in ur life where you will lose control of things. You will feel like everything is being piled on top of you. You will want to crumble or scream but u won't. You won't because nothing in this life can stop u. Your going to wake up every single day and take what is rightfully yours. Love, family, faith, honor, compassion, desire and most of all YOUR WITS! keep ur head right bro. I meditate every morning after I read a poem. It's the same poem I've read every single morning since I originally found it. It's my way of fighting my demons and fight my own insecurities. Here it is:
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

I just looked at your stats and your "before" juice pics. You need to take your own "advice and motivation" straight up. You looked like you didn't even workout at all in your "before going on cycle" pics.

forreals?

Do you still weigh 165 at 5'11 right now? you could have probably gained 7 lbs in that 4 weeks on NADA naturally.

Yeah that pic was from while ago have since sat down with few vets and worked on diet extensively and this cycle is going much better then the last time, I'll admit last cycle wasn't the best and that's why I wanna do this one right and if a 5 days to a week of being off routine us a ruiner then I'll shut it down. I am just beginning to see body changes from this cycle and believe things were going great
