+ 1 Thyroid panel results - what's up with them?

ad

Decided to get a thyroid panel done just to see where everything was at. Currently in a calorie deficit and have been since around April. Oddly enough I have high free T4, optimal TSH, normal free T3, and really high reverse t3.

Does this seem normal for being in a calorie restriction?

Current compounds are test, primo, hgh 2.5iu ed, reta 4mg a week.

Long term reta use causes this. Take a break and check back. For every reaction there is-

Weight loss raises reverse t3, but high t4 levels can do the same. With your free t3 at top of the range I personally wouldn't be to concerned. Do you have labs from any other time? You could just have a super active thyroid. To answer your question, seems normal enough for someone doing a controlled cut.

unfortunately not a whole panel, just my rythm monthly tests that just do TSH and Free T3. Reason I got the whole thyroid panel was because rythm had me going from 3.36, to 2.91, to 2.41 so I wanted to make sure there was nothing else going on.

It seems rapid weight loss can screw your thyroid out of wack. That reta making you drop 10+ pounds a month?

Low carbs can cause it, vitamin deficiency, little stuff like that too

Looking at my scale data it's been around 7-8lbs a month weight loss. Eating 179g of carbs a day so not super low or anything. Eating 2050 calories a day plus or minus 10-15.
