A huge disappointment- scrap it or make the best of it?
So my current cycle has been a disappointment to me. Many of you may recall my post on EQ just kicking in and the great side effects that came along with it. My disappointment doesn't stem from my compounds, results, etc., but from the series of unfortunate circumstances I continue to find myself in. I fought the flu early of in my cycle, making eating nearly impossible (at times I was forced fasted for days). I ended up severely dehydrated and shrinking. After a slow recovery, I started to bounce back regaining the weight I had lost during that time (about the time I posted about the EQ kicking in). About a week ago I injured my shoulder, rendering me unable to anything but arms, abs, calves, and legs exercises where a bar does not rest on my shoulder. I've been out of the gym for the past week nursing my shoulder injury and am now sick again with flu-like symptoms. Throughout this cycle, I have gained ZERO pounds of total bodyweight. I am sitting at the same overall weight, but with roughly a point and a half to two points lower BF. Now, for the question portion of my sob story: Do I continue my final three weeks of Test E/EQ and the following three weeks of prop taper (6 total weeks) or do I begin my taper now putting my pct in about 2.5 weeks? I don't mind fighting through it, I like a challenge. Although, I'm not here to waste time and prolong the time until my next cycle if I'm just treading water. So what's the better option: 1) Spend more 6 weeks on with minimal gains? or 2) Cut my losses, hit PCT in a little over two weeks, regroup, heal, and come back stronger in the spring? All advise is welcome- I'm really in a tough spot here.

It sucks when everything doesn't go your way on a cycle. Trust me been there and done that many times. My advice is suck it and cut your losses. The more important thing is during the next 6 months before your next cycle is to keep focused keep that diet in check and train hard. With proper diet sleep and training you can still make good strides forward without AAS. Send me stats, goals history and I'll put together a cycle for spring time that will sure not to be disappointing to you.
Thanks to all who answered. I'm going to take everyone's advice and cut it short. In 12 weeks, I'll be back!
Yep!! Kick this one to the curb man. Your 'body health' is what's more important in the long run...I have fought thru injuries before only for them to come back and the pain would radiate to somewhere else...causing ANOTHER injury of sorts!! I now have bursitis PERMANENTLY in my left shoulder because I was a dumbass before. Listen to your body...it's trying to tell you something, it is actually smarter than your brain at this point!!! Better luck with recovery and a few months from now bro...you'll be much happier in the long run.
Yeah man sounds like a cycle just isn't working for you right now. Cut the cycle short, get your shoulder back to 90%-100%, make sure you are healthy as fuck, and then comeback to cycling. This isn't about a challenge but being safe rather then sorry. Eliminate the cycle.
As a bonus to quitting the cycle early is that your gains could come well into your off cycle. When you get better just continue on creating a better physique in the gym. It sounds like once the illnes clears you still have quite a bit of muscle groups you can make improvements to. Then when the shoulder gets better, be very careful with your form so as to not reinjure it.
Clip it and regroup. Too many battles for you at this point so going on is just loss of useable gear. Might have to run test e a lil longer to avoid a crash of test. Possibly taper off test. You'll heal and make a great comeback!
Thanks for the advice brother! I'm going to begin the prop taper tomorrow and keep my head up until next cycle
Sorry to hear your woes, sounds like you've had some major bad luck. There's logic either way, you could battle through really working legs and arms, or cut your losses now. What's the money situation like in terms of saving the gear for future etc?
How are your legs? I know a LOT of guys that are slack with their legs, if you could use work on em, battle through and smash em for the last 6 weeks. 6 weeks us a long time though....
Me, I'd probably battle through, but I'm a stubborn so and so.
Finally and most importantly I hope your shoulder improves rapidly mate.
Thanks for the good wishes brother. The shoulder will be back at 100% eventually. It's a nasty flesh wound. I'm just happy I'll be left with only an ugly scar and no mobility or tendon issues. I think I'm going to prop taper for 2.5 weeks and focus on adding the greatest amount of mass I can to my legs and calves. I'll come back a lot stronger next go round!
Brother, I had to scrap an eq cycle 7wks in last winter due to similar circumstances. Its a tough decision to make and that only you can make. I did come back to the BEST Spring/Summer cycle I've had in yrs!
You won't win with every cycle bro but you can turn it around in the next
You know what? I'm just going to bite the bullet and get prepped to crush the next one. My only hesitation was how long I am in already- just over 12 weeks... Thanks for the feed back brother
