Sweat/sauna suit.

ad

With winter comming and it getting colder out, I haven't been sweating as much as I use to. Wondering if a sweat suit would help with burning more calories or fat? I noticed the last week that my shirt hasn't been soaked like it was a month ago. Will wearing on while working out help or will it hurt me. Thanks guys for any info

I think you have been hypnotized by those dum ass comercials into beliving that sweating will make you lose real weight. I seen one that claimed you lose belly fat by wearing their belly wrap to hold the heat around your belly like a belly blanket lol. Thats funny because Ive never seen a fat guy with abs. Real weight loss comes mostly from the kitchen but it also helps to get in the gym to do some cardio and staying active at home. The sauna suits are ment to be a band-aid. They will make you dehydrated so that you can lose that 10-15 lbs woth of water weight quick for a weigh in. So they'r great for wrestlers and mma fighters to use 2 WEEKS OUT from weigh ins to make weight for their class. If not used properly it can be dangerous (and hinder lean muscle gains). I know a guy that was using a sauna suit to lose weight and he didn't understand its use and would not listen to anything I said. He ended up having kidney stones because he was so dehydrated for too long. He used the sauna suit for 6 months straight every workout.

Just asking, dont think I will take that route. It's just my gym is in the garage an it gets cold during the winter months. Just have to do more cardio. Thanks for the input

They work great to loose a couple pounds to make weight for wrestling. Used em when I was younger for that purpose but that is about the extent of it.

The guy that used it for 6 months lost a lot of weight. I would susspect some being lean muscle mass but mostly water. He did put it all back on after not using the sauna suit any more. After he got the kidney stones and talked about how painfull it was I asked him if he would do it again and he said yes. He's 18 and doesn't care about what or how much he eats either. SMH!
