They do test but not everyone. the golden boys of the natural comps dont get tested but the new comers do. It cost money to test and that something they dont have alot of. I think testing for the top 3 is compulsory though. So if you place you get tested after the event is complete. If you fail, you cop a 2 year ban from competing in any type of sport in australia regulated by asada
