The hair on the side and back of the head is DHT resistant for 99% of us. That's why the hair from those areas are used for the donor hairs during transplants. They still remain DHT resistant after being transplanted. When you hear people talking about having to make multiple trips to maintain it etc... It's not because the transplants are temporary, it is because they went and had the procedure early on in their balding. This means as the rest of the original DHT vulnerable hair on top of your head continues to fall out, you will eventually have to go back for a follow-up procedure. So you are better off to let the balding progress a fair bit and then get the procedure. It's pretty affordable if you go to Turkey and many of the clinics include shuttles to and from the airport, hotel, clinic etc.... Just make sure to get a solid middle tier clinic with good reviews. Don't go bargain basement cheap and don't go top dollar because they just add on extra unnecessary amenities to justify the cost and you don't actually get more from the procedure.
Thanks you brother
I was speaking to my Barber about this around a month ago as we were discussing going bald etc and he declared that he had got a transplant done. I would only get it done pal if you have a lot of cash to hand and can afford to keep it maintained every year to 2 years buddy because its a continual cost and commitment. Obviously it costs thousands at first to get it done - But the real down side is that for the first 6 months you are not supposed to train in the gym at all because of the increased blood pressure in the scalp etc and the risk of it coming back out. I think he mentioned other things like washing it too etc initially.
He was a year or 2 on with it all and has to go back over to get more put in which was costing thousands more too. I started loosing and thinning out on top when I was only 21 so I've had years getting used to it all and my now crescent moon head LMAO Generally, using AAS is going to lose you some hair anyway because some compounds cause you to shed no matter if you suffer from MPB or not - from my experience if it doesn't bother you that much and are fine with a Grade 1 skinhead then leave it and save your money - I guess it just depends on how much it bothers you and if you have the time/money for the ongoing upkeep of a transplant. Not sure if I had a tonne of money if I would get it done or not?
Lol I'm just imagining hair jettisoning from the top of my head mid squat. I'd be mad ASF
Maybe gonna have to just grow into my massive head lmao
Thank you for your comment sound advice bud
I was also genetically predisposed to going bald at a young age. I finally gave up and started shaving my head. It is the least of my worries at this point.
Bro the only people who have ever been bothered about it seem to be others who have tried to take the piss out of me over it during the decades - Honestly it upset me at the time was I was 21 and bits where coming out in my hands when I was waxing it, but after those intial years I just accepted it and never gave it any thought or cared. Getting on gear rapidly accelerated it when I was 34 but because I bulked up so much and grew a thick neck and traps I liked the look!! Lets put it this way - You ALWAYS get let out at road junctions by other traffic and nobody ever asks you if they can work in with you on the leg press LMFAO If I need to use something and just walk over to the piece of equipment in the gym and give the look of I wanna use that, then within 2 minutes they are off it and its free.
No, but in all seriousness here - I really don't think how much hair you have on your head has anything to do with how people perceive or interpret you once you begin talking to them.
If you search YouTube for Dean StMart then you find some videos where he discusses his hair transplant and some protocols for how to maintain it afterwards. He collaborates with clowns like Vigorous Steve and Kurt Havens but don’t hold that against him.
Thank you
