Ok, I don't want to say anything that I should not...here it goes. Is it normal for a package from oversees to go to Canada prior to the US?

I just was told by my guy that another person in the states said the same thing, that tracking says it is going to Canada. Hopefully, if it has the right address it will be rerouted to the states. I hope that will not cause any more scrutiny at Customs.
I don't see why it would unless your source uses a reshipper.
Yeah, mine have gone through JFK as well. I hope it is that I was sent the wrong tracker. Thanks for the advice.
Did my share of internationals and ALL went to customs at JFK airport..
