Fucking depressing

ad

So I got my pre cycle lab results in today. Testosterone, Serum 365 ng/dl. It says the reference range is 348-1197. This was extremely depressing for me, but it is however a fact of life I just have to deal with. It does explain a lot though. I built muscle extremely quickly and easily in my twenties, and now that I'm in my mid thirties I've spent the last year lifting weights harder than I ever did when I was a kid. And even though it has helped me to lose a ton of weight (42lbs to be exact). Everytime I stop dieting for a couple months to try and regain some muscle I run headlong into a wall. So I think I was sort of expecting this I just didn't expect it to be so bad.

So my question to the community here is this. Should I even bother with PCT after I run my first cycle? Or should I simply continue taking a low dose of test every week? I'm gonna call my dr's office and try to set up an appointment, but I'm pretty sure that my insurance won't cover HRT. Anyhow thanks in advance to anybody that reads this and posts, the community here has already been extremely helpful in getting me squared away on the right way to run my cycle.

Do you remember when in the day you had the test done? Test levels are naturally highest in the AM. As a reference, no AAS, mid-600s for me upper 30s age 1.5 hours after I woke up.
I wish I still had the natty upper-900s I had in my late 20s (also taken in the morning).
All the best bro.

It was at 3pm. I'm doing 2 more tests, one during cycle and one after. Should I do them earlier in the day?

I think it is most important just to be consistent. Same general time of day each time so that's one less variable. Just like if you weight yourself on a BF scale.
Highest reading should be in the morning, and the level goes down throughout the day, and is especially low after alcohol or a big meal. I need to find the source for this info, but you can kind of judge for yourself (there's a reason it's call "morning wood" for example). I don't know what the variance is, but I want to say up to 200 ng/dl.

I don't drink. I get up around 11am daily. My first meal is always after 3pm. I also only eat carbs pwo. I take a dhea supplement daily as well. While I don't think my result was an absolute best case scenario, I would be shocked if I managed to increase it more than 50 points by going in earlier. I've been researching natural ways to impact test production, and i think I'm already doing the things I should be doing. Just gonna stick to my guns and run this cycle, if my test results aren't satisfactory after PCT then I'll just take it from there. I will however start testing at 12 or earlier from here out for the sake of consistency, and in the interest of getting "best case scenario" results.

Have you had just one test? I wouldn't be so upset man, I mean if it was 150 that would be shit but your levels are going to fluctuate, alot. Everything from when the last time you had sex to how much sleep you got last night to what time did you have your blood taken are going to affect your result. If memory serves me correctly the average T level in men your age is around 600 with a SD of about 200 and levels fluctuate by a hundred to a 150%...which means even though that ONE result was on the low side it's not terrible. I mean do your cycle, hell yeah, but it's not time to throw in the towel on the boys they still work man. Keep em up with HCG on cycle and do your PCT. Good luck whatever you decide man!!

I have never taken any aas in my life. And at only 35 years old My test is extremely low. I have my cycle set up and waiting on pct to arrive in the mail before I start. 500 mg test-e per week, .25mg adex eod. standard clomid+nolva pct at 100/100/50/50, and 40/40/20/20. I was originally not gonna run HCG on this cycle, I am however now seriously considering it, because well, what the fuck could it hurt.

I think you are a candidate for HRT I am on testosterone replacement and I use 200mg/week and 1arimidex a week and then I blast with a cycle every 4 months and the nice thing is since I have a script the test I get while cruising is high quality like Original Pfizer Depo-Testosterone the one with the small stopper. And there is no reason to do a PCT ever and since you will be cruising you will never loose a single pound of what you gain in the cycle.

This is bordering on a TRT thread.

Sorry bud. I use only one forum and it's this one. So what I'm trying to say is I'm a little bit slow =). If a mod wants to move this over that's cool with me.
