moderate cannabis use for appetite stim when bulking?
I used to smoke a lot of pot in high school and college..but I have many yrs since given this practice up. As a a matter of fact, it had been just about almost 2 yrs since my last 'indulgence'.. when the other weekend while out with a few friends and I was being the usual 'DD' as I don't consume alcohol, when one of them pulled out some super stinky and eventually got me to partake..
Mind you, I am 7 weeks in on a heavy bulk cycle/diet and generally hit a clean (about 90%) 6000 k a day..(which I sometimes struggle to hit my benchmark..and greatly suffer consequences if I DONT)..and GODDAMN did I just eat my fucking face off! I scarfed down a little bit of shitty bar steak tacos, went home cooked up some sauteed broccoli and bressul sprouts and just went to fucking town.. lol
I ended up having my friend get me a small amt (3 grams) and I've been using it very sparingly..and soley as an appetite stim to very much success! Now, I really try to limit the use because I really don't like the general feeling cannabis gives off, and want to retain its effectiveness through moderate dosing.
Anyone have success using pot in a bulker? I think it puts EQ to shame for an appetite stim! ;)

When I have the munchies I want to eat every sweat juicy thing in sight. Hell with the chicken breast give me the Twinkies with a sides of Big Mac’s… calories; yes, good; no. Motivation? little to none. Not to mention, smoking reduces your ability to get oxygen to your blood.
I've had some of my best gains on cycles due to pot really helped me pack those extra calories in plus it helped me sleep no mater how hard the without I would go home smoke eat then rest

I recommend vaporizing as opposed to outright smoking; less harsh on the body and more efficient consumption of the medicine.
Watch the movie "Super High Me" - he actually ended a month of daily, constant smoking with better test levels than before he started
I say try Hash instead of bud. it'll still help with appetite stim while lowering the "cloudy mental high" you get from bud. also you generally feel better. then again this is IF anything and not saying you should indulge. obviously no cannabis is best
when i smoke weed i don't get cravings for bodybuilding friendly food... just sweet sugary junk. but if it works for you go for it bro. i wouldnt smoke weed off cycle due to its suppressive effect on testosterone, but on cycle that's really irrelevant
mazarIt doesn't work im afraid. Sure works for junkfood but wont make you gorge the protein any faster. Eq is the only way. Also if you add any orals to the mix the weed just calms your stomach rather than making you hungry. Eq will make you hungry whatever you are stacking it with. It works for you because you have 0 tolerance if you get used to it a bit it works against the appetite. For a good nights sleep and rest it is the best thing out there.
Saying that a good strong indica would be godly for tren sides.
Well said Mazar.. I am what you call a Care Giver In California. I supply patients with what they need(; . I Strongley recomend not smoking during the day Before a workout. The only time I will smoke is right before bed. Usually when I had a late night workout just to help me get some sleep.

After 22:00 or so it would never hurt anyone as long as you can stick with it. Right before bed time is the way to go took me many years of wake and bake to realize that. Moderation is key as with everything. You got a dream job btw!
Lol yeahhh its every where in Cali.. Like you said tho moderation is KEY. I would also Highly recomend not smoking bud during PCT or when you have no motivation when coming off of aas's..

The way i see it anabolic steroids already add plenty of health issues to our body, why add narcotics into the mix. Just my two cents. Don't get me wrong i did my share of narcos when i was young, no need for that shit now.
I agree that smoking while "on" cycle is a no no. It lowers t levels as well as produces estrogen. When on cycle the body is already under stress and the kind of appetite stim it gives is never the good kind. Believe me im around pot all day and i dont touch the shit when ON! All I would recommend pot for on cycle is if u can get it easier than a mood stabilizer or anti anxiety. If ur getting aggro then I might consider it for that reason but not for appetite stim. If ur about to have some sort of mental breakdown smoke that shit. Ive seen guys straight lose it. I was one of them But when on cycle u must be willing and able to stick to an extreme diet whether it be for bulk or cut cycles. U cant rely on anything but You're Will to eat as much or as little and clean as u need to. Its all about discipline. When on cycle I almost hate food. Cuz I can only handle green beans and chicken for so long. But it's the only way the gear has a chance to make a difference.
mazarIt lowers natty t levels and doesn't increase estrogen and that is yet to be proven its a myth. Weed is linked to gyno because it reduces your natural test. Not everyone has high estrogen when their test is low. Never run a cycle without weed so cant comment if its better without or not, i highly doubt it has any negative effect. Not talking about blazing before you workout of course.
I see ur point on estrogen maybe a myth but for real Maz u can't tell me it's harmless. When I run a cycle I'm too exhausted already to be getting hi. And when I say not harmless I don't mean it's Gunna make u all fat and lazy. But when I smoke I drink. It makes me lose a bit of focus on my goals. I personally think pot is a miracle drug. But when I run a cycle it's becuz I'm ready to sacrifice and push my body to the limits. To focus on creating more and newer muscles. It's not like I think an occasional toke or two will make u a turd. But I need all of the energy and focus and commitment I can come up with. That's just me. But if ur already getting great results with smoking on cycle ask yourself what could you do and achieve without it!

mazarI never said is harmless but it doesn't affect your cycle either. Yes it will fuck your lungs same as smoking does but other than that if you smoke after your workouts it will not have any negative effect in your gains or your cycle. I was gaining up to 4lbs per week at some point (without dbol or anadrol) so i am sure it is not affecting my gains. 90% of the time i gain 2lbs per week like everyone else and that's at full AI doses not quarters e3d or whatever.
I haven't drunk a single beer for over 3 years but weed and a cycle go well together at least for me. I use weed as a reward on cycle and pct. I workout and then i have a smoke after i am done, believe it or not this way it boosts motivation. It doesn't affect your energy levels unless you are smoking it all day and you are in a haze. Also the type of weed has a lot to do with this, indicas are not the best option but they will take care of most sides and increase appetite. Sativas will make you energetic\motivated but wont do much for you to sleep. If anything weed lowers bp and bt so it will have a positive effect on your cycle it aint like cigarettes or alchohol which add fuel the fire when it comes to bp and bt.
UFOAgree with mazar 100% on this from my own experience. I always smoke on or off cycle. But when I am on, I cut way back and like mazar said, only use it towards the end of the day kind of like a reward. Not many better stress relievers out there. I do find it to be an appetite suppressor for me so I dont smoke during the day and it makes my bland meals taste even more like shit. Always have better longer gym sess if i havnt smoked before. And just because that shit is labeled a narcotic does not make it dangerous. Shit all AAS is 10x more harmful and dangerous than pot so I def would not be worried about it in that sense. Make you lazy and fall off track a little if used to much? Yep itll do that. Like everyones already said, moderation.
OE2000I'm not against smoking at all! But, I know these cats at the gym that claim smoking weed helps them focus on their workouts..... funny how they end up at the smoothie bar watching TV for the first 45 minutes.......LOL
