Tails help please
ad
I have downloaded tails and checked the integrity of the ISO. Following the directions on the tails website, the next step is to burn to dvd* (I am not using a USB stick.) The tails file is in a compressed file and when I right click there is no option to "burn image to dvd" like I am instructed to do. I tried copying to dvd instead and ran into an error message.
What do I need to do to get the ISO image to dvd? Do I extract the files first? The directions on the site didn't call for this.
fyi I am using windows.

I see greg got to you .. so ... I don't have to but you'll be updating every six weeks or so ... sometimes this happens to me and I usually delete what I downloaded and redown load ... my issues come when buring more than one disk though .. I blame it on windows ...
What's Tails?
A portable OS that uses TOR
install it on a DVD or Thumb drive and boot up any computer to anonymously browse the web and leave no trace on the computer you are using.
it adds an extra level of security for the user
Terephthalic Pt...Daemon tools for virtual drives
And a number of things for burning to DVDs. I prefer Power ISO, but to each their own.
Muscleg33kor you could run it in a virtual machine on Windows..
