Squats.

ad

Years of Mma my legs are pretty strong but after retiring I've decided to do a bb show August of next year. I'm on 500 of test and 400 of eq a week diet is in a bulking stage at about 2500-2800 cals a week. I lift 4 days a week. Question is my legs are lean but small I've put about 25lbs on but its all upper body. Tuesday is chest and tri Wednesday is back and bi Thursday is shoulders Thursday is leg day. Should I add another leg day? Need SIZE!

If you are having trouble getting legs to grow, try 20 rep breathing squats aka widowmaker set. Legs tend to respond better to high reps.

Wrote this a long time ago. Quads are my strong point on stage by far. https://www.eroids.com/forum/training-nutrition-diet/workout-exercise/da...

More info in that write up then most I've read. Thank u. Started a new workout this week called plus 8s kinda boring but legs get a great pump. Will try to add parts of yours to my second leg day. Thanks again

No prob. I have heard of plus 8s. Also look into FST7 it's brutal and cripples me for a few days.

Thanks everyone. Another day it is.

Look at it this way. You walk around on them all day, a "rest day" still involves your legs doing lots of work. They need a lot of stimulus to make them grow, more than most people do in their leg workouts.

Volume for legs has always worked for me.

I now do legs 2x/wk. I split it up so I can focus on quads one day and hams on another day. Working out real well. Don't forget those calves either.

I agree, I started doing front squats consistently 2 years ago and have seen more more growth and definition in my legs than after 15 years of heavy training w/ squats every week.

Tried front today was very awkward. But tried 225 might have been to heavy.

Just used it to up my appetite. Should I go to 6?

That a peptide? Never used peptides

EQ does nothing for my appetite, so be aware it may do nothing for your appetite as well.

Everyone is different but I find my legs can take a lot of abuse so I hit them twice a week.

Pit bull 101's picture

I hit them as hard as I can on the one day and normally don't walk right for a day or two. Guess I'm gonna add a day and see if the results out weigh the pain. But I'm really disproportionate. 210 upper body with 170 legs.

Then once a week may be best for you. Hard to say for sure. As I always say, your body has excellent feedback mechanisms so listen to those over everything else. Pain and Fatigue. If you feel pain then stop. If you are fatigue you need to take a break or lay off that body part.

Not pain like hurt something just soreness keeps me from walking right.
