Shoulder Tendonitis month 4 help
Hey all,
I have been dealing with tendonitis as of the 15th this month it will be 4 months. I got tendonitis in my left shoulder last year (dominant arm) after doing rehab workouts and i believe 6 months of off time upper body workouts I finally got to go back. Now the right shoulder is flaring up for the last few month. Immediately i knew what it was. So i stopped doing upper body workouts and started my rehab workouts. This time its more on the outter upper crest of my shoulder after originally being in front on the top of bicep area. Today it doesnt hurt but if i excert my arm a little to much i can feel it flare no pain. just like its flared a little right before pain. Im going in for a xray on wed I thought i was going to able to tough it out but its killing me not being able to hit upper.
Looking for any pointers! Anything anyone else has done to remedy there own. i am taking fish oil, glucosomine, msm, tumeric. I have a bunch of HGH but i ran it for the first 2 months and didnt seen any improvement so i stopped to not waste it. hopefully will get mri to confirm its tendonitis at this point.
Pray to the gain gods i dont lose all my gains.
thanks in advance.

Hey All!
Update LOL still got tendonitis in my right shoulder. Had MRI and 4 shots so far with very little help. At this point I think its my job. I work a desk job currently after coming from a construction back ground. I really cant believe it has lasted this long. Starting to get me down. I have lost about 12lbs lol and definitely have atrophy happening. My legs look solid though lol. I havent completely not been working out I have continued doing light stuff here and there hoping to not lose all my gains. But at this point I think I just need to lay off till it gets better. I even tried tb500 and bpc from a very reputable source for 5 weeks with very little to no improvement. Thank you for your help on the exercises and such those have kinda kept me sane since i cant lift. Any more advice is welcomed with open arms!!!! thanks again.
Active release therapy
I'm a little late here, but was just wondering how your tendinitis is doing? If you haven't already I would highly recommend taking Magnesium and Vitamin B6. I have tendinitis in my left and right elbows and it has helped significantly. I also have carpal tunnel which is what the B6 is primarily for. You can find plenty of research on the web about it, but here is a quick read in regards to the Magnesium. http://www.tendonitisexpert.com/magnesium-for-tendonitis.html
If you do decide to begin supplementation of said vitamins it's highly recommended that you ensure you are dosing your proper daily allowances as too much of either Magnesium or B6 can be detrimental
I hope this helps some!
Hey buddy thanks for the info much appreciated. I was doing pretty good till mid last week. Everything was good lifting light and doing my circuits no split just yet. But I went and did a heavy arm day and I think scull crushers did it. I did light with dumbells but still it got me. No bad though just flared a little for a few days and I'm letting it come back down. I have another cortisone shot coming up. I know they are not the best but it has gotten. Better after everyone. 2 so far. I'm now taking 3-4 iu of some solid gh. And taking tumeric, msm, glucosamine, fish oil. With my daily beet juice, ginger and apple cider vinigar. I'm gonna look into what you listed as well I'm willing to look into any options at this point I had taken four months off before it got better slightly and was able to go to do circuits for about three weeks then i had my flare again. What dosages are you taking? I used to take mag last cycle to help with blood pressure.
Update. Second week after second cortisone shot I saw a specialist and he confirmed it was tendonitis. The cortisone this time took away the pain completely. Still some tightness in the shoulder. But no more feeling of flare. I am able to do light work at gym im talking light like 45s on hammer strength lol but atleast I can do it. I have had my gf rub my shoulder almost every night and started tb500 and bpc. So hopefully soon I'll be back. And be able to work my way back slowly. Thanks all for the help.
I also am going to try some scrapping and cupping. When I find someone that does it out here.
A.R.T. for adhesions that will cause the tendinitis
Upper thoracic stability for prevention of rotator issues
watching videos now. Gonna have to go see a chiro probably too.
If you can find a chiro that specialises (and is accredited) in ART, you're on to a winner
You could likely do biceps and some triceps with self-art and voodoo bands, but to hit the shoulders, rotator area, including through collarbone and upper thoracic, you'll need someone else. Accreditation and experience is important as these lads can close their eyes, put their hands on the muscles that have the adhesions (which pull the tendons away) and can instantly feel the problem - NO HOMO
It's relatively cheap and some adhesions can be cured with 1 -2 sessions
Good luck with it man
Really appreciate the help all positive thoughts.
HGH and BPC 157 are on my first tier for injury...
TB500 would be on the second tier.
Additional first tier include ART, massage, acupuncture, scraping. voodoo bands.
A good joint support supp glucosamine msm chondrotin provides the material to help heal joints and hgh is like the worker, hgh on its own will definitely help but for the extra few bucks to pick up some joint support you might as well. Haven't tried bpc myself but I have tried tb500 and it did nothing for any of my injuries. My shoulders are fucked, I just took some time off while staying on gh and still they're fucked. It sucks you just gotta figure out how to stay healthy so you can continue to progress. I'd rather slower progress and not getting hurt then blowing up getting hurt being out for 3 months losing size and repeating. But tendinitis never fully goes away.
You're right irongame427...you could probably also add Bone Broth (collagen sythesis) and fish oil (joint inflammation)...
I disagree on one thing, I think under the age of 40 (approx.) you can heal tendonitis...as you get older it becomes much more difficult. Tendons/Ligaments take 200+ days to strengthen...thus the healing process is considerably slower than muscle. Proper rest & modalities & supplementation can greatly assist. AAS causes muscle quick muscle growth, and the tendons/ligaments lag behind - that's where GH assists. The older dudes here using gh will be able to resolve issues like an under 40 bloke...
With respect to your shoulders, I imagine the issue lies within your shoulder mobility. All the lifting we do, ultimately we create our own shoulder impingements...we make the joint extremely tight. Most with shoulder problems have poor shoulder mobility. I have slight tears in both shoulders, I literally feel your pain. I've made adjustments to my training (no moves that cause impinging) and I am extensively working on shoulder joint mobility...beyond the basic PT internal/external rotation bologna.
I got to specialist on thursday after getting a Xray recommened by doc that did not show anything. Hopefully an MRI or some type of answer. I will be starting GH again soon prob close to 4iu. Currently stretching daily and doing strengthing exercises.
Yes, this, 100%. If we all absorb anything in this thread, it should be this

yea its a constant game. Im only 28 but this year i feel like my body hit a wall. had my first "back going out" experience. This shoulder tendonitis again but in the opposite shoulder and a jump on a wakeboard that left my knee feeling weird since but no signs of injury lol. I'm gonna take it slow the rest of year hopefully make a full recovery and come back late this year or early next.
I'm taking glucosamine and msm from a reputable brand on amazon. At this point I'm thinking maybe hopping back on gh would be a good idea I have a ton like around 800iu but I was saving that for during and after cycle. I wanted to experiment with running gh on cycle and into / after pct to see if it helps me retain muscle. since nolva just wrecks your igf. But maybe i need to suck it up and just do 2-4iu.
Yea i will probably delve into those once this doctor apt comes out clean since i know of a super legit source for peptides. But i was hoping to remedy it prior to that lol.
Im doing my exercises daily with two days off a week and i got my girl giving my shoulder a rub down every two days thank god for her. I was thinking about trying cupping and some other treatments as well.
Scraping is better than cupping...scraping will easily smooth out damaged tissue; use with a magnesium & arnica based oil...
Also, I should've added heat therapy to my list above...
I feel your pain...literaly. i have slight tendonitis in my shoulfer as well. Doesnt sound as bad as yours but it definitely makes training more difficult. I used bpc-157 on my elbow and was successful. Been thinking about combining that with tb and see how that works. I wish I could offer some helpful advice... have you tried any corticosteroids? Those can help but the relief could last a day a month or forever. Its hit and miss. Generally tendonitis will go away with rest but soundd like your past that. I remember after last years Olympia Kevin Levrone came out saying he had tendonitis in his leg and was getting prp (platelet rich plasma) treatment. Im sure this is expensive and not available to everyone but sounds like it really helped him. Anyway good luck!
Yea i think im prone to tendonitis. I am at fault prob for it though lack of stretching and strengthening tendons. And also continuing to workout like I am on cycle when I am not lol.
I got a cortisone shot almost 3 months ago. It is not painful today and hasnt been for the last two months. But if I stress it IE a set of curls even light. The next day i can feel it a little.
Yea im gonna look into some other treatments. Im not a rich man but I can spend a little to try and remedy this. Driving my self crazy not being able to lift.
I would wait see what the doc says first brother I can tell ya what has worked for me but I recommend waiting to see what the doc says first!! then have you tried tb500 and bpc 157 it worked really good for me on an old shoulder injury and some tendonitis I was having problems with
Thanks for the reply. I definitely will wait to see what they say at this point I'm looking for what ever help I can get lol. And no I was going to try some tb500 a while back but I wanted to see first if t would clear up naturally. Then add if not but at this point I'm gonna be out for 6 months prob so now im looking at other options.
I have run them both separately with minimal results in my own experience they seem to work much better when ran together! Hopefully once you go to the doc it's nothing serious
Thanks buddy. Can you describe your protocol please.
Sorry bro I just seen this reply I run 300 to 500 mcg a day of the bpc I start my tb500 at 10mg a week for the first month then 5mg a week there after thats how I've been dosing it for the last couple years
