I can't do wide grip pull ups anymore?

ad

Alright guys, this is very weird... Normally I can bang out 12-15 wide grip pull ups with great form but ever since I went to thailand and got a "deep tissue" massage my left shoulder feels like the inside or something is fucking tweaked. When I set up for the pull up It feels normal but AS SOON as I try to lift myself up my shoulder won't go into the path that its used to. Like it never has done it before? I can do assisted pull ups on the machines fine but bodyweight I can't anymore then it hurts as soon as I get a few inches off the ground. Any ideas what could have happened? I got back from Thailand end of January and I believe I gave it enough time....but its weird, I'm getting the most gnarly shoulder pumps now and my shoulders are looking alot fuller but can't hit a pull up lol.

Pull ups and dodgy shoulders aren't good mix. I've had three rotator cuff tears and three surgeries as a result. The exercise that'd till really bothers my shoulder - wide grip pull ups or wide grip last pull downs. I can press with only minor discomfort but those exercises are gone from my training.

Get your shoulder checked by MRI etc.

From personal experience what is the feeling of the torn rotator cuff?

A deep pinching sensation right in the joint is the best way I could describe it.
