Hip Flexors
Hey everyone, I know this isn't the right spot for this post, but gets a lot more traffic than the Workout thread, so forgive me if I'm out if line.
Anyway, my hip flexors are my weak point. My deadlift and squat max aren't what they could be. Coming out of the hole on both I'm great. The part of each lift where my hips need to drive forward to complete the lift is where I get stuck. I also notice it in my Strongman training. Especially with yoke or carry events. I would like to consistently pull 650 and squat 550. I can hit those on rare days but most times I'm stuck. It's very frustrating.
What I'm looking for is some insight into strengthening my hip flexors or advice from anyone who may have experienced this sort of thing? I googled and all I get are the weird "exercises" that I honestly would be embarrassed to do at the gym. Like hip thrusts or whatever. Sorry if that's stupid in my part and if I need to suck it up I will I guess, lol.
Thanks.

Thanks guys
Weighted flutter kicks and weighted sit ups or roman sit ups. Banded dead lifts will help you break through that barrier with explosive movements.
Tink22Knee raises hit my hip flexors.
Ok so this thread gets kicked but the "quit smoking" "nanny state" and "kicked out of GNC" are alright?
Ace VenturaTry the unorthodox exercises at home if you don't want to do it at the gym. Not sure, but I'd guess some of them are body weight exercises anyway?
Yessir, will do.
Thanks
