This idea of 500 reps each time you workout a group of muscles is pretty intriguing. I would think you would start over training that group as I've heard over the years. Who else thinks this is over training? Who doesn't? Why or why not?

Sounds like crossfit.
I don't believe in over training. I believe in listening to your body and letting results dictate what works and what doesn't work for me.
NSAagentyeah well that is going to accelerate sarcoplasmic hypertrophy growth, aka puffy muscle, where the muscle grows in size but yields to make strength gains... just depends on what your training for bruh
NSAagenti would honestly say experiment with dude see how it goes and document it.... It is a kind of radical lifting routine, but shit who knew a 100 years ago we would be walking around on the moon and watching porn on our phone
mikeyg4321Well I mean I'm not trying to waste my time or have anyone waste theirs. Kinda why I'm making this thread and to gather opinions. Also I'm not trying to be puffy muscle weak man either. Lol I mean this guy is huge as fuck and he isn't exactly doing light weight either. watch his videos and you'll see.
NSAagentokay, how do i find his videos..? Also just switch it up bro, all the time, confuse your body for maximum growth, go 2 weeks low reps high weight and go 2 weeks high reps low weight... Always experiment like a scientist bro... Everybody's body is different and what work for that guy won't necessarily work for someone else... you kinda catching the concept here?? it's all guess work until you figure out what works best for u...
I like to go high weight low reps and im pretty massive u put stress on your body in a way that it has never felt before it has to compensate by getting bigger and stronger, granted that you have proper rest and nutrition.. the gym is the lab bro..... In other words i like to get stronger and in order for my body to get stronger the muscles have compensate for all the extra weight by getting BIGGER and then add more and it goes forever broo shit is not rocket science doggg
mikeyg4321Just Google 5 hunnit and youll see his vids at the top from YouTube
epcfitnessMaybe for legs if you can handle moderate weight doing different exercises for that long, wouldn't do it for any other body part though.
mikeyg4321Ah but he does or so does in the videos. He claims this is for mass. But see I always thought mass= low reps + heavy weight. And definition=high reps+ lighter weight
Rich paina believes in it. Not 500 reps tho. That sounds crazy....done in multiple sets?
Anyway he preaches 40-50 rep sets to gain size and dude can still curl 225 x 10 tho!
I'm gonna give it a shot with my triceps mainly as that was his weak point as well until he went to the high reps.
Only when on cycle tho. Without you would become scrawny lol
