+ 1 Simple pasta sauce
Sorry no good for no carbs, but for the rest of you as per usual the shit in the jar is no good, its filled with chemicals and sugars.
It is very easy to make a delicious fresh pasta sauce, and you will know exactly whats in there. Plus lycopene is an important mineral for men, and the best source is cooked tomatos.
You will need ; A fresh bunch of basil
Fresh bunch of oregano
Head of garlic
Large can of Tomato Sauce, Pure is fine too
Large can of crushed tomatos
Small can of tomato paste
Mince up about 5 good sized cloves of garlic. A tip is to add a little water to your pile of garlic while mincing it, it will mince better.
Finely chop the basil, finely chop the oregano.
Heat up a large skillet and add 2 pats of butter, add your garlic and saute till it becomes nice and aromatic, then add your oregano and most of the basil.
Just let the garlic mix in and the herbs heat up a little, then add your 2 cans of tomatos and the tomato paste.
Stir it under medium to medium low heat for about 20 minutes. A little salt and black pepper, then at the end throw in the rest of that fresh basil.
Dont cook it for hours, the fresh herbs will taste great if they arent cooked to death.
Pour this over some spinach linguini and you have a great meal, without added sugar or preservatives.

I like those san marzano when its not so much a sauce but added in with some pasta and roasted garlic.
The nice thing about this sauce is its quick and I feel fairly guilt free because even though its carbs, its a fairly clean meal.
