+ 6 Better hard boiled eggs

ad

I apologize if this has already been posted but i learned the other day that baking eggs is THE SHIT. Instead of hard boiling, put eggs in a muffin tin. 325F for 30 minutes and let cool in ice water.

HOLY SHIT WAY BETTER FLAVOR, not so eggy, much more proteiny. Plus they peel WAY EASIER. I just roll the egg around between my fingers and thumb and the shell rolls right off in one piece. Try it and youll never go back.

Awesome Idea dude! I hate trying to peel hard boiled eggs!!! I'm going to try this baking method tomorrow Smile

I eat a dozen boiled eggs/day. Will try the oven method this week.

sweet buddy. make sure its pre-heated, and make sure you go the full time, i even go 5 minutes more to make sure its all cooked evenly. enjoy!

If u put some vinegar in the water it forces the eggs to coagulate the shells will peel off in one piece, also the radiation from a micro wave destroys any protein substance in less the 30 seconds

You can buy boiled and peeled eggs at Costco or BJs now. 24 pack for about $9. That is what I do and make 12 deviled eggs at a time. So when I need quick protein and healthy fats (my recipe) I just eat 4-5 of them.

I use cupcake (large) pan - crack open one egg each (make 12 at a time) and fill em up, top with whatever u have in the pantry (spinach, peppers, tomatoes, or even some Mrs. Dash - no salt). if you want to make without yolk, I separate the yolk and only put white in the pan. 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes and voila - egg cupcakes.

I'm doing this today. Great idea.

im tellin you dude, i dont even salt them any more bc they taste so clean.

true that. LOL pinterest. That piece of shit has to be good for something besides giving homemakers another way to waste hours of valuable time.

I keep mine on the middle rack and it seems to be ok. They DO get little brown marks from the oils in the shell overheating but they dont taste or feel any different.

I tried microwaving them once... Once... I didn't poke a hole in eggs. My microwave exploded literally. Blew the door open I had even on the ceiling and a dead microwave. I had never heard of trying this sounded like a good idea at the time.... Don't try it. U can cook em the micro but must poke hole in egg. If my oven blows up I don't even know bro! J/k good post plus 1 for you

LOL well i wish baking them was that exciting but its not. NO need to poke holes either. No explosions, no projectile chicken periods... wait, now it just sounds lame. im gonna go microwave some Smile

Haha for sure giving this a try.

thanks! Im telling you, i love them too but they dont peel well for me and I can only eat so many and the eggy taste gets to me. These baked eggs are fuckin smooth.

They DO get little brown burn marks on them sometimes but it doesnt affect the flavor or texture at all.

oh thats probably just because im a piece of shit LOL I must not have registered it or read it late at night and forgot. Ill get back to you.
